As a self-described supporter of transparency in government, Palin should be cooperating with the Troopergate investigation (and so should her husband), and she should release her tax returns, just like all the other candidates have. But, just like her claims of foreign policy credentials, her reform credentials are less than substantial (and misrepresented).

I thank God that McSame didn''t get away with insulting the American electorate. That proves to me that we are not as simple-minded as the GOP leadership believes. The only people fired up about Palin is the far-right extreme of GOP faithful who are not main stream America anyway.

Silliness in politics. I can see the ocean from my house, that makes me an oceanographer. I can see a mountain from by house, that makes me an expert on mountains. I can see %u2026

The Palin-McCain ticket has all but guaranteed us a war with Russia,(in defense of Georgia), so she is just trying to make something she heard sound like a thought she had; doubt that is going to happen any time soon!

Palin would antagonize russia over Georgia - threatens war with Russia. Palin watches as Russia launched amphibious invasion into Alaska. Now you can really see Russia!...she is an idiot.

Palin''s $25 MILLION Gravel Road to Nowhere Opened Today!

Palin was for the "Bridge to nowhere" until it became a political liability. Then she was against it.

HOWEVER, SHE TOOK THE MONEY ANYWAY. Around 250 MILLION of the FEDERAL EARMARK for the bridge went to Alaska anyway. Did she send it back as she claims? Hell NO. She KEPT THE MONEY.

What did she spend it on? Well, for one thing, she spent $25 million on a "Road to Nowhere". The "Road to Nowhere" goes right up to the edge of the water where the bridge to nowhere was going to be built. They built the road even though the bridge had already been killed by Washington. But that DID NOT STOP PALIN! The "Road to Nowhere" went ahead anyway.

Ketchikan Mayor Bob Weinstein said the 3.2-mile road now is ideal for road races and hunting, and possibly some commercial development. But with no bridge to serve it, that''s probably about it.

Palin is a liar and a fraud.

Under Palin''s leadership the state this year asked for almost $300 per person in requests for pet projects. THAT IS MORE EARMARKS THAN ANY OTHER STATE HAS RECEIVED, per person, from Congress for the current budget year, and runs counter to the reformer image that Palin and the McCain campaign are pushing. IT IS TEN TIMES THE AVERAGE EARMARKS in the US. TEN TIMES!!!!!!!!

This country is in serious trouble and we need serious answers. The choice of Palin as VP shows that McCain is not taking the job or the American People seriously. Shameful

Palin is a post turtle.

Explanation: While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old Texas rancher, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Alaska Governor Palin and her bid to be Vice President.

The old rancher said, %u201CWell, ya know, Palin is a post turtle.%u201D

Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a ''post turtle%u2019 was.

The old rancher said, %u201CWhen you''re driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that''s a ''post turtle''.%u201D

The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor''s face, so he continued to explain. %u201CYou know she didn''t get up there by herself, she doesn''t belong up there, she doesn''t know what to do while she is up there, and you just wonder what kind of idiot put her up there.%u201D

McCain is hiding behind Sarah Palin now. First his wife whom he can''t seem to make a move without and now Sarah. One thing is for sure he knows his people well...because they fell lock and stock for the Palin is my running mate trick. What a complete waste of time and energy. She is one lady I would say yes, with 5 children and one with special needs you should probably stay home. She seems very eager to continue the dismantling of this country.

I can see a bank from my house. And banks are are a key part of our economy. By Republican standards I have domestic economic credentials.

What silly logic -- Alaska is close to Russia therefore Sarah Palin has foreign experience. Such logic demonstrates a complete lack of critical thinking. Sarah Palin has few qualifications for VP and is totally unqualified to step in as President. Her educational background is questionable as it seems she had to struggle going through college -- she went to 5 different undergrad schools over a period of six years! In interviews Sarah can barely answer questions from journalists and simply reverts to slogans from her handlers. Ask yourself why you haven''t seen her on Meet the Press or the other Sunday morning news hours. There''s an open invitation out there but you''ll never see her on Meet the Press because more likely than not she''ll appear to be clueless when asked about the issues.

One would think that in challenging times like today, we would be seriously considering candidates who are bright, well-trained and can think carefully about difficult problems. The economic meltdown we''re currently experiencing is only a single case in point requiring a leader to have a solid grasp of the issues.

How come she hasn''t had a Press conference. All we see is her reading the same script speech after speech, repeating the same lies even after they''re shown to be false. Why won''t she follow through on her promise to cooperate with the troopergate inquiry. It was McCain''s campaign lawyers that went north o stop it. Wasn''t she vetted for VP at all? A dangerous, reckless and impulsive choice for VP. These two are both nuts. They must not be in the WH in January. America may not survive 4 more years of Republicans in charge.

Gov Palin''s so-called international experience is just a complete joke. The Republicans that are trying to sell us this bill of goods are just harming their own credibility. I mean she didn''t even have a passport until last year. How stupid do they think we are? Palin is completely unqualified.

Sarah Palin''s lack of foreign policy experience is not a bona-fide reason to not vote for the McCain Palin ticket. McCain who would be President, if elected, has ample foreign policy experience. On the other hand, Obama''s lack of foreign policy experience is a glaring inadequacy and therefore a very good reason to not vote for Obama in this election.
