NO ONE can make a case for Obama without saying "he''s not Bush or McCain." Tell us, o great ones, what is his plan? Wait, let me help you:
(1) He will give free money to the poor. Except.. we don''t HAVE any money to give away! And Congress has to APPROVE it anyway. They won''t.

(2) He will negotiate around the world and make the US so much more respected. How? By giving in to world leaders? We LEAD, we do not follow.

(3) He will help race relations. HOW?

(4) He will rebuild America''s educational system. HOW?

(5) He will give health care to everyone. What about those of us who don''t want gov''t health?

More delusions. Obama in a landslide? More like a mudslide the way the Obama people are slinging it. Listen, we all know this is the only way Obama wins. They must throw mud to obfuscate the facts. Obama is a liar, a flopper, a race-baiter (both white and Latino), a friend of radicals, a part of do-nothing Congress, a product of Chicago politics, a smear merchant, a coward, an elitist.

McCain, on the other hand, is a war hero, a maverick against his own party, a reformer, a respected part of Congress. You can smear about his infidelity, or his choice of Palin over Lieberman, or his supposed record of voting with Bush (it''s more like 74%), etc. But that''s really all you have. In essence, McCain represents MORE CHANGE than Obama. Case closed.

lsageinaz - I expect your kind of response. It is a tittering behind a tree, designed to defuse any serious message. Gone are the days of William F. Buckley, David Susskind, and true scholars who would disembowel Obama analytically. Today, we are treated to the likes of Olbermann, Maddow, Larry King, Wolf Blitzer, Charlie Rose. And the hallucinations persist not in me, but in the youth of today, blind with rage against an administration, which is natural, but also against anyone from a party, which is not natural or pure. The Democrats (as the Republicans) have all sorts of responsibility for the economic mess we''re in. However, whereas Republicans will share the blame, the Democrats do not seem willing. Nowhere does Chris Dodd take any blame for his role in the housing crisis, yet he is in control of the committee and is first in line for handouts from the industry. Obama was second in line in his short stay there. No one complains that Obama took the money, took the house from Rezko, now a felon in jail. No one cares that he claims to have started legislation for reform (which is false) and htat he claims McCain did nothing (FALSE- look in 2003 and 2005 - CHECK THE FACTS!). I wish your rage could dissipate for the short time it would take to seek facts and make a disciplined decision.
