The following was included in a decision concerning the classification of prisoners at Gitmo by the Bush administration. This is part of the reason terrorists President Bush unwisely brought to Gitmo may eventually be released into the US. It equally applies to Senator McCain''s false ads in the presidential campaign. Do we really need four more years of the same incompetence and arrogance in the White House continuing these stupid and dangerous policies?

Excerpt from Case Decision -- (not good for DOJ)

"First, the government suggests that several of the assertions in the intelligence documents are reliable because they are made in at least three different documents. We are not persuaded. Lewis Carroll notwithstanding, the fact that the government has %u201Csaid it thrice%u201D does not make an allegation true. See LEWIS CARROLL, THE HUNTING OF THE SNARK 3 (1876) (%u201CI have said it thrice: What I tell you three times is true.%u201D). In fact, we have no basis for concluding that there are independent sources for the documents%u2019 thrice-made assertions."

Four days before the infamous "lipstick on a pig" remark by Sen. Obama, Gov. Sarah Palin was depicted as the lipstick-wearing porcine embodiment of "Federal Budget Earmarks" in a St. Louis Post-Dispatch cartoon.

Did the Obama campaign see this political satire and work into Obama''s speech? Of course they did.

BeeBaBoo: no, what is sickening is your ranting, and you''re trying to pass yourself off as an "undecided voter." You''re just a wolf in sheeps clothing, get it "my friend?"

I could not believe how disrespectful the "ladies" of the view treated Sen. McCain. Truly another low in television. Somebody please buy Whoopi a dictionary so she can define the words secede vs. succeed. If Baba and Co. think they are helping Obama they are mistaken. I am an undecided voter at this point, but the media bias is sickening. As for the lipstick comment Sen. Obama knew excactly what he was saying. Listen to the audience''s reaction before he finished the statement. Also Joe Biden said the exact same thing at a rally the same day. The dems should man up and admit they took a shot at Palin. Who could blame them for the way they got hammered at the RNC. The debates should be very telling as to where the candidates truly stand on issues and their specific plans for leading the country. Hopefully this will be done without being shouted down by a bunch of old trots.

Excuse me. Did anyone notice that John Bentley, the author of the above article, got it wrong? He acts like McCain didn''t answer the Roe v. Wade question directly and feels the need to quote McCain''s website in order to show what he "really" believes, but if you saw The View you would know he said exactly what he said on his website. No deceit or double talk going on there, although that is what Bentley would have us believe. It''s ridiculous that now we as citizens'' can''t rely on the media for objective information and need to start fact checking everything they report as well! The biased is just disgusting and incredibly unprofessional. We need reform in the media world.

Twice during The View interview, McCain mentioned that this country was established on Judo-Christian values and went on to say he wanted judges that interpret the law the way the founding fathers meant it to be. Who knows what they meant it to be? It''s subjective. MCCain backed up his statement by repeating the phrase, In God we Trust and all." Well, McCain, In God we Trust is not in the Constitution nor is there any mention of God in the Constitution. Jefferson was a diests - not a Christian. IN God we Trust was placed on our bills in 1955 as a slap in the face to the communists. It was not on our original legal tender.

If we overturn legal abortions, we will create a black market with all its gruesome consequences. America----do you really want that? A basic premise of our constitution is separation of church and state. Let us honor our constitution.
