- His qualifier "illegal guns" should concern everyone. Obamas real position is that anything semi-automatic should be an "illegal gun", reducing the technology of the civilian population to government tyranny to that of the late 19th century.

That''s how the republicans ALWAYS win. They target, stupid, myopic people that only care about ONE ISSUE, lie to them, and then get their votes.
Look at Bush / Rove. They told everyone that if the democrats get elected, you''re going to have g`a`y marriages and abortions EVERYWHERE, in record numbers. So the religious right came out in record numbers to vote against Kerry.
The result, g`a`y marriages are now legal in two states, (soon to be 6), and abortions are happening at the same proportional (record) rates that they always have.
But now we have $4 gallons of gas, perpetual war, and a crumbling infrastructure to go along with it. - Reply to this comment

The last I heard, there is no law against stating known facts and even if they weren''t facts the First Amendment is still in force. And will remain so as long as the Second Amendment is.
