- Mrs. Palin and Mr. McCain are on the stump, running for office, as Mr. Obama is too. Go back and listen to Mr. Obama''s rhetoric these past 10 months. Obama people, get a grip on yourselves and stop whinning. You all sound like a bunch of cry-baby teens tearing their parents down after a good chewing out, which you got at the Repub convention. It is really pathetic folks.

- %u201CAll you%u2019ve ever asked of government is to stand on your side and stay out of your way, and that%u2019s what I intend to do.%u201D
McCain has had 25+ years in Washington to stand by our sides. It''s getting mighty lonely out here. And don''t think I''m going to vote for your religious zealot running mate just because she''s a woman. Keep her off the national press microphones as longs as possible, Senator. She is an "angry right" time bomb ready to explode in your face. - Reply to this comment
- More of the same Bush bashing from the Nobama camp. Do they have anything constructive to say? This is getting so old and tiresome. And to think they say the Republicans are the "attack dogs".

- A sarcastic, snarky female for VP? Joan Rivers would have been the better choice.

- I find it ironic that McCain is running a "change" platform, but has selected a vice president who sounds just like George Bush. I''m tired of the fear mongering and hate mongering words spewing out of her mouth. Enough already! If McCain truly is trying for a change, the old Republican fear politics needs to go.

- Sarah, sweetheart, what goes around, comes around. You''ll have quite a time trying to handle intense press scrutiny of your so-called "qualifications", when empty cheap shots will no longer cut it. And then there will be those vice-presidential debates where your nasty little cheap shots and lies will be torn apart by someone with real experience and credibility.

- It''s beyond me how Gov Palin can put her pregnant teenage daughter in the national spotlight as Palin has done. Then to even suggest that she marry her teenage boyfriend..shame on her! Children have no business marrying, Governor. Your decisions and morals are not ones that I want representing me in this great country. How about looking at the real issues of this country!
