McCain was heard to say "When did they put motors on the rides? When I was a kid, horses provided rhe power!!!!"

The man is too old to be Pres.ident. His VP will probably finish out his term if elected

H. Res. 6578, the Consumer Energy Supply Act of 2008. The measure received strong majority support in a House vote today of 268 to 157, but failed to receive the two-thirds necessary to pass under suspension of the rules. All Democrats present voted for the measure, while 157 Republicans voted against it. The measure would direct the release of a small amount of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, bringing down gas prices and sending a strong message to energy speculators.

"The American people have paid for more than 700 million barrels of oil to be held in this government stockpile. At significant taxpayer expense, the SPR is currently 97 percent full - its highest level ever.

You can see the names of the 157 Republicans who voted to keep the price of gas high at this link:

in response to bswalker12:

McCain''s vision for America is dark and fearful. There is nothing more positive that McCain can offer the American people...at least McCain hasn''t spoken of any positive vision for America. Like Bush, McCain wants to criticize the other guy and offer fake-solutions that have no substance. If McCain is so great, why are there so many ex-republicans (like myself) who won''t even register as republican let alone contribute to McCain''s campaign? McCain''s vision for America is full of empty promises of change that McCain never spoke of as a senator. And McCain has done more to promote the status quo politics that GW Bush perfected. McCain is MORE OF THE SAME

Posted by bswalker12: John McCain brings experience and vision to America when we need it most against our enemies all over the world.
Barack Obama wishes to open our borders to the world and let the terrorists sprawl on the White House lawn like picnickers lunching in Central Park.

I hope you aren''t offended by my cleaning up that portion of your post in which you referenced the Senator from Illnois. I could not even begin to respond to that non sequitor. However, I hope you realize that your man of experience and vision for the 21st century leadership of the most technologically advanced nation in the world can''t IM, Text, Email or Compute. Good luck with that.

Hello my friend. I''m John McRove:

I''m speaking to you to let you know that I can only try to smear Obama and scare you into voting for me. You see. KKKarl has told me to leave it all up to him. All I have to do is kiss babies and talk in vague generalities unless it''s something negative about Obama. You see, I''m saddled with 8 years of Republican failure and malfeasance. We gutted the treasury, allowed a false war to be prosecuted, spied on loyal Americans, spent all the surplus and let the wealthy get a free ride on the middle class.

So what''s the problem here? I mean, really, all we need to do is wave the flag and mouth empty platitudes. Say, did you see the Paris Hilton ad? Talk about hard hitting and decisive. It doesn''t get any better than that.

Wait until next week. We have a whole campaign about Obama and arrugula. Real hard hitting stuff. Should be a killer.

You know bswalker12, I''ve been wondering why the media didn''t go nuts over McCain''s gaff in Sturgis, offering his wife for a "topless" contest, that they didn''t shows the media is watching out for Old John. They would have smeared Obama if he made such a insane, stupid, asinine statement.
