A plea for more troops in Afghanistan was, as it happens, virtually the only concrete thing (and certainly the only one asking anything of his audience) in the warm drizzle of platitudes Obama delivered in Berlin. But he''''s shown no understanding of two basic facts. One, nations send their young men and women to war principally because of their own perceived interests and their own internal political dynamics. Obama, with the blithe confidence of a man accustomed to talking his way out of anything, seems to think that his silver tongue will be all it takes to shake more soldiers loose; this is a mirror image of the idea that somehow the U.S. would have some grander coalition of friendly nations if only we didn''''t have that meanie George W. Bush around, and it too is a rehash of the Kerry campaign. But Britain, Poland and Australia went to war in Iraq, and France, Germany and Turkey didn''''t, principally for reasons of their own leadership''''s perceptions of their national interests.

There were no Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq. Saddam Hussein didn%u2019t have Nuclear or active Chemical Weapons and viable delivery systems. Hussein didn%u2019t even have one aircraft after the first Gulf War.

The Republican plan has been:

Create a false need to invade Iraq.

Don%u2019t send enough Troops to secure the entire population.

Don%u2019t provide the necessary protective equipment.

Disband the Iraqis Military forcing them into armed rebellion.

Don%u2019t use Iraqis to rebuild their own country and use foreign contractors instead
leaving everyone unemployed with nothing but time to fight the occupation.

Mismanage $Billions in Federal Treasury Funds, and deliver funding to the insurgency.

Drop the number, or over extend the US forces ability to maintain troop levels.
Then, implement an increase or %u201CTHE SURGE%u201D of Troop levels 5 years after the original occupation began.

Call for a successful VICTORY when told to leave by Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki.

Thus, it has been create a problem, broaden the problem, implement a fix and then call it a success?

And, the American People are strapped with a devalued $dollar, higher Energy Prices, and $1Trillion Dollars in debt.

McCain, Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, and Colin Powelle have been very wrong from the beggining of the unecessary invasion and occupation of Iraq.

There are Americans working hard for a living and getting paid less all the time with outsourcing, illegal immigration, and higher costs for everything due to the Bush/Exxon Energy Policies.

John McCain represents the same Conservative Agenda and will see if elected (he%u2019s behind by over 100 electoral votes today) the complete elimination of the America Working Middle Class.

And, I believe Grampy McCain could sing Alabama, Charlie Daniels, Cold Play, or *** with T Pain in %u201Cour%u201D country. Ya%u2019ll working red states Americans that continue to vote against your own better interestes%u2026need a boot in yer @ss!

After Obama%u2019s speech to an estimated 200,000 Germans in Berlin, a columnist for Britain%u2019s Guardian newspaper began his review this way: %u201CBarack Obama has found his people. But, unfortunately for his election prospects, they''''re German, not American.%u201D

Obama''s speech to the Germans left much to be desired, from an American%u2019s perspective.

For starters, the crowd%u2019s size was beefed up by the fact that the event was billed as a free rock concert for German citizens, with popular musical performers helping to draw the big crowd. Scant U.S. media even noted the warm-up rock draws of reggae artist Patrice and rock band Reamonn.

Then there was the simple stage, with the podium surrounded by three potted plants. Missing was the American flag -- nowhere to be seen. Perhaps Obama%u2019s staff might consider the U.S. flag offensive.

And then there was his speech, in which he proudly proclaimed he was in Germany as a %u201Ca fellow citizen of the world.%u201D

And there was the spectacle of the presidential wannabe going to a foreign land to apologize about the United States.

There was no way Obama could go overseas at this point in his career and be perceived as anything less than the political opportunist that he is. The only people I know who want Obama are the ones with their hands out and their butt down. Anyone not wanting to work hard for a living will love this guy. He sang Opera for the Europeans and tickled their fancy--let''s see if he can sing Alabama, Charlie Daniels, Cold Play, or rap with T Pain in "our" country. He is a boy in a mans shoes.

Guess he found how much it costs to hire 3 rocks bands to give free concerts to draw out thousands of teeny boppers so he can scam you into thinking 200,000 Germans, home of the Ayrian Nation, came out in support of an American political HACK!

I would assume a %u201CFairy Tale%u201D is better then the %u201CNightmare%u201D the American Middle Class has been experiencing under the Conservative Agenda over the last 8 years.

When it comes to fair taxation, I must repeat: VOTE FOR YOUR OWN BETTER INTEREST!

Barack Obama will raise taxes on families making $250,000 or more but pledges that anyone earning $150,000 or less will get a tax cut under his proposed budget plan.

IN THIS ECONOMY, FOR ONE, 200K ISN''T ALOT; SO THOSE WHO WILL MAKE, FOR INSTANCE, 199K A YEAR WILL NOT WANT TO MAKE MORE BECAUSE THEY WILL BE TAXED MORE- AND EVIDENTALLY EARN LESS ANYWAY-

OBAMA IS AN IDIOT, NOT ME- YOU FOOLS...BELIEVE IN YOUR FAIRY TALES AND GOOD LUCK TO YOU.

What I am finding is that the obsessive media ( who are FOX, Limbaugh, and all of AM talk radio) can''''t take the heat and prefer to whine or point the finger when things make them nervous...Attack Smear Swift Boating tactics are all the GOP able to produce because they can''t run on the results of their detrimental policies.

Vote your better interests America.

What I am finding is that the obsessive media ( who are liberals) can''t take the heat and prefer to whine or point the finger when things make them nervous- GROW up & shut up. PS. Stop showing such disrespect for McCain with the biased reporting. MCCAIN has more character than most people in America and all people on the Democratic side. Character is what makes a man- NOT Obama''s or the media''''s big fat ego.

Here%u2019s a few things (just a few) we as Americans can look forward to more of if,
John %u201CThe War Monger%u201D McCain would be elected to a 3rd Cheney/Bush Presidential Term in 2008.

Perpetual War, Mismanaging of Federal Treasury Funds, and Fear Mongering.
Increased Governmental $pending while cutting Taxes to the Wealthy.
Unfair Taxation of the Middle Class.
High prices for GASOLINE, Electricity, and Everything Else!
High Medical Costs and Prescription Drugs.
Pollution.
Invasion of Privacy, and disregard for our Constitution.
Corruption, Corruption, Corruption.
Religious Hypocrisy and Abuse of Tax Laws.
Politicalization of the Justice Department.
Degradation of our Infrastructure.
Continued export of American Jobs to overseas Slave Labor.
Decline in US stature and respect of the World Community.

Not to mention, (but I will) the 35 impeachable offenses committed by George W. Bush.
And, the unbridled support from overly violent war obsessed religious and patriotic hypocrites.

GREAT JOB GOP! ya''all need a boot yur @ss...

Ubama (the one libs luv)

He voted No on repealing the ''Death'' Tax. Tax Increase.

He wants to raise the Capital Gains Tax. Tax Increase.

Has repeatedly said the surge in Iraq has not succeeded...which is not true.

He is ranked as the most liberal Senator in the Senate today and that takes some doing.

You''re wasting your time trying to reason with these bedwetting liberals.

--------

I know they have been taught to take in whatever the liberal media tells them, and then to believe that they are ''thinking for themselves.''

But it is fun to make them squirm when you challenge their liberal views and they cannot defend them.

All they know is what they read on the DailyKook or hear on CNN or NPR.

They are easily captivated by shiny objects and have a gov''t school education.

...ALSO compared to Americans. They''re getting all our money. And it will continue until there is nothing left, if Americans keep buying the myth that either dems or reps give a dam about Americans. They DON''T. They''ve proved it over and over again. WAKE UP!!!! Quit arguing and vote for a real people''s man - Ralph Nader!
