- We ALL should question this fellow... riding on a wave of "blackness", when in fact his father was something like 87.5% ARAB and only one-eighth black. We should all question an 8th cousin of the Bush family, whose Grandfather Jeb headed a "bank" which funded Nazi Germany.

It is quite obvious from your posts that Obama scares YOU to death.
Obama is very new to most Americans so the only thing we have to base our opinions on is what he professes to stand for and what little record he has accrued in his political career.
He didn%u2019t win his, presumed, candidate position solely on his record, rather on the promise of change from what we have had for the past 8 years.
What America does know is that almost anything has to be better than that.
The options, as I see them are; More of the same with McCain, or hope for change with Obama.
Obama and McCain each have prejudices to contend with.
Obama has two serious hurdles to get past; The normal prejudice of republican voters against any democratic nominee and the much more serious, and possibly even insurmountable, racial prejudice.
McCain has three hurdles:
One, Like Obama, he has the normal prejudice of democratic voters against any republican candidate.
Two, the fact that, at 72 years old, he would be the oldest person ever elected president.
Three, and the biggest hurdle of all for him, the disastrous record of the Bush administration, which he has supported 95% of the time, especially the Iraq fiasco. - Reply to this comment
- If you watch Obama he is not at ease. He is not amongst infatuated admirers and has a press that is more examining. Leave it to the Israeli media to give us a better view of Obama''s skills.
What gets me is just what did he have to do to get audience with all these heads of state? The guy is not even a nominee yet. Maybe he is going to skip that step and go straight to being President. From what we hear from the press he is already acting that way and has to be reminded he isn''t.
What we have now, thanks to Obama, is foreign countries playing with our election, and Obama is encouraging it. Trust that all these leaders did not devote time to Obama without getting something in return. Do we think they are helping him politically here without some expectation for the future?
Obama''s campaign is trying to sell us that this IS NOT a political trip. And it seems Germany''s Chancellor is the only one who has a view that his trip is nothing but that. She went on record as "reminding everyone that this was principally a political, not a diplomatic, visit by a man who is not yet president. Newsweek, July 18, 2008
Our media has yet to pick up on that one. Shows you how aware they are, or maybe it is just because they are in love...feel those tingles! - Reply to this comment
- If Israelis are doubting Obama, it is for good reason - he is a liberal Democrat, and liberal Democrats have no qualms about ignoring their allies if they are attacked.
Obama may say one thing, but you know he will do another... - Reply to this comment

- Seeing as Israel is no friend of the US or anyone else, the more the Zionists distrust Obama, the more I trust him.
But he''s got a long way to go to regain my trust after his "Jerusalem is the undivided captital of Israel" rant. - Reply to this comment
