Obama''s Pals: From Chicago Corruption to anti-US Iraqi Thieves...Ayham Alsammarac,Iraq''s slimy ex-Minister of Electricity under the Bremer and Allawi administrations, who had escaped from an Iraqi prison by hiring an American security company to break him out back in December 2006,has resurfaced in the Jordanian capital Amman where he gave a press conference today saying, among other things, that he hoped that the insurgency in Iraq would continue to fight and avenge the Iraqi people...Alsammarac,an Iraqi-America Chicagoan, added that he had contributed the maxmum allowable of $2,300 to Barack Obama''s campaign. But there''s another Obama link to Alsammarac:while serving as electricity minister Alsammarac had been involved in brokering deals in the Iraqi electricity sector for Antoin Rezko,Obama''s long-term friend and patron....Obama should be in jail.

Why is Bush (and now his brother John McSame) so destine to eliminate the Writ of Habaeus Corpus?

The Supreme Court didn%u2019t take away anyone%u2019s right to investigate, apprehend, and charge (with crime) anyone (in the world) that poses a threat to the US.

What is up with Club Gitmo???

Explain.

McCain will lose big on this argument.

We''ve seen how terribly wrong for America the post-911 neocon mindset is. This puts him more with Dubya and on the wrong track of where the American public wants our country.

What people do not understand is%u2026human rights are for HUMANS!
If you%u2019re paranoid corrupt Republican Government should want to declare YOU as a anti-American Terrorist they could pick you up and hold you forever without cause, or reason.

Then, who is going to help you?

The Republicans have endangered every American with their Imperialistic Actions by invading and occupying Iraq, and never apprehending Osama Bin Laden.

Arguing against basic human rights is like, lets say, arguing against Global Warming, it''s feudal.

If anyone is guilty of pre-9/11 thinking it''s serial nutcase James Woolsey, who - unable to understand the concept of non-state actors - immediately, and without any evidence, blamed Iraq for 9/11 ON 9/11. He is also a war profiteer: VP of Booz Allen Hamilton and Director of the Paladin Homeland Security Fund. Terrorism and war have been good to Woolsey, no wonder he''s a fear monger. Not only this, but he has advocated on behalf of convicted spy/traitor Jonathan Pollard, which according to the new guilt by association logic of the Bush-heads, would make Woolsey a traitor as well.

Steve Clemons writes:

Woolsey was the first person on national television on September 11, 2001 to allege the connection between Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda without disclosing on these shows his legal relationship representing Ahmed Chalabi and the Iraqi National Congress.

He is also someone who seems to see no conflict between being a pro-war pundit pretending to be on objective commentator and a war profiteer who is pocketing a lot of money from contracting related to war activities.

All the democrats should be declared as enemy combatants and shipped to Gitmo. No habeas corpus and no laws are applicable to these enemey combatants. What a great way for the neocons to win this election. Now that shows the neocons spirit for the laws and constitution.

LIBS have no idea how to protect this country. The constitution is a pact between Americans and their government and those on U.S. soil. LIBS now want terrorists all over the world to have these rights.
FDR is rolling in his grave.

GITMO is US soil. The US Embassy in Russia, Italy, Greece and Iraq are US soil.

So the convicted 1993 WTC Bombing terrorists should get a retrial. Gee - 4 of those terrorist were convicted in a year and a half.

We MUST get out of the mindset of McCain! Sure, we are sorry that he had to spend years as a POW, but that is the mindset that he is still living in now!! We, as a nation, were determined to impose our wills and beliefs on the people of VN, that led to another unfortunate war, just like the one we are now waging in Iraq. So, in 1975, after losing tens of thousands of good men, (don''t even consider the vietnamese people who died) we had to take flight. A powerful country, losing to a small but determined one. History has shown that we cannot just impose our will on anyone. The Iraqis and their supporters will fight it out till the end, and there is no end in sight as long as we follow McBush/McSame/McCain!!!!For our own good, we must not repeat VN again even as McCain is trying to use Iraq to banish the ghosts he has had to live with since the 70''s. WE must not and cannot allow this man to play dangerous games with our lives and the lives of our citizens.
