You mean like the Dem party in 1968 when they were against equal rights and had senior members like Strom Thurman and Jessie Helms? You mean like that Dem party? - Reply to this comment

Too bad then that the nominee is elected by number of delegates not total vote count (wouldn''t matter you''re not couting the 5 states that had caucuses). And you might take note the that super-delegates DO count, very few change their minds after publicly declaring. - Reply to this comment
- Oh, the other "true progressives" in the dem party also voted against English as the primarly language in the USA.

- You want to change our MONEY because it "offends" our Muslim brothers??!! WOW!
Should we then take out the facilities that the Minneapolis Airport placed so that they could wash their feet, because it "offends" somebody?! Should we stop allowing the Koran in public schools and let the Bible have equal time, because perhaps it "offends" somebody.
With all due respect, it is people like you who have screwed up this country! - Reply to this comment
- part 3:
Taxes: Raising taxes for anyone making over 30K per year. These people are to pay for all of his new programs. This will wipe out the middle class- there will only be wealthy and poor.
Bigger Government: people are not smart enough to manage their own money and lives. Government is to tell you how to live.
Estate/Death Tax- re-instate. Despite the fact that the deceased already paid taxes on the money- it will be doubled when they die.
This is just the cherry on the top of his bad ideas for change.

- part 2
Space Exploration: Against any further exploration..leaving us vulnerable to attacks and unable to learn new ways to protect ourselves against air attacks. We have always been a country to look up to in regards to our brilliant astronauts and scientists. They will also become unemployed.
Trade: No Free Trade and roll back Nafta.
Our relationships with allies will suffer, jobs will still go overseas to offset tax increase.
Social Security: Raise Payroll Tax and The Retirement Age
You get to pay more and wait longer to get it.
Military: cut costs to our troops and any future advancement making it difficult to protect the USA at home or abroad.
War on Terrorism: he has waffled on this from pro to anti..he says he is standing strong on pulling troops out immediately leaving Iraqis and America defenseless.
Illegal Immigration: We will not deport them. Free Healthcare and Drivers Licenses and a waiting period of 5 years and then get citizenship. Very expensive and our tax increase will pay for it.
*** Offenders: victims of sexual abuse can not have files sealed and therefore rapists can find them again. No privacy to victims.
Lending/Student Loans/Credit Cards: That banks can charge whatever they want in interest. They can raise interest rate from 12%-35% overnight if they want - Reply to this comment
- No BHO "groupie" seems to have a clue about BHO''s "change". I will show you unhinged:
part 1 -
Here is Obama''s change:
Right off the bat - 2+ trillion spending
In committee as we speak - 845,000,000,000.00 spending in foreign aid relinquishing control to the United Nations (an America bashing organization)
Scarey company he keeps - Frank Marshall Davis, black communist-leaning writer, admired the the CP (communist party), Bill Ayers and friends - same communist goals, Rev. Wright - publishes Hamas terror Manifesto, backing of Louis Farrakahn, Black Panthers, admiration of Gerald Hume, writer for the Marixt thoughtonline.....the list goes on and on and on......You should be scared of this change
Education: to teach *** Education to Kindergarteners. Rebuild schools in Hispanic areas. He is for busing kids into districts to balance the population. Free public college for anyone who makes at least a B. To be paid for by raising taxes.
Abortion: Pro Late Term Abortion- if you haven''t gone into labor you can murder the baby. If aborted baby survives abortion- not to be given medical care- wants it to be left in the sink to die
Healthcare: Universal Healthcare with minimal coverage, No Choices, free healthcare for illegals. Uninsured to pay 3X more than insured for same care at hospitals. To be paid for by raising taxes. - Reply to this comment
- How does Hillary vote on the International US Money Proposal ?
As a college Professor, I am deeply concerned about how insensitive we are in the USA about our money, having "in God we trust" on EVERY bill ! This means that our Muslims brothers have to handle money around the world, that is against their core Islamic belief. How would we feel ? Not very good.
The proposal would be just for International use, and we would just change our money before we all leave the airplane.
I believe that Obama supports our proposal as do other True Progressives in the De.m party.
Stop in the insults, and insensitivity, and there will be PEACE ! - Reply to this comment

In my book, intelligence, judgement, competence, and character trumps all regardless of age. I know plenty of older people who lack all of these things and plenty of younger people who possess them all.

Gee, you must be floundering right now because Barack (Barry) Hussein Obama does not possess any of them. Give yourself a break - Join the McCain supporters. Do you REALLY think - when push comes to shove that Barack Hussein Obama has a chance??! I know many people, who did - at one time - "support" him. They knew nothing about him and admitted it. They have seen the light!!! It is not too late for YOU to be saved!!! - Reply to this comment

- Team Clinton is not lying when they say their candidate has won "seventeen million" votes--or "more than any primary candidate in history." They''''re just defining the truth very, very technically. If we stack all the ballots cast for the candidate named "Hillary Clinton" (17,916,763, including the caucus estimates) alongside all the ballots cast for the candidate named "Barack Obama" (17,723,200), the New York senator leads by 193,563. But again, that tally includes Michigan, where "Barack Obama" technically received zero votes. In other words, to believe that Clinton is "winning the popular vote," you must accept the exact results of a flawed election in which voters could choose only one of the two competitive candidates. That strikes me as somewhat undemocratic. More importantly, it seems to be striking the superdelegates--a.k.a., the only voters who matter at this point--the same way. Clinton''''s vote tally is impressive. But on Tuesday, Obama will reach the end of regulation a mere 20-30 delegates away from clinching the nomination; Clinton will come in a whopping 200 behind. Which means that if Obama''''s unquestionable lead in the delegate count--the metric by which the Democratic nominee is chosen--sways 10 percent of the 200 or so remaining superdelegates before the other 90 percent buy Clinton''''s highly questionable popular-vote claim, it''''s game over for HRC.

- realpatriot1,
You''re right. McCain is about to have to answer for 7 years of kissing George Bush''s ring. He''ll be on the defensive because he can''t argue his case straightforwardly with the facts. He''ll constantly have to side-step and will lose what little "straight-talk" luster he has left with the corporate media. And, when he tries to play the "Obama never served" game, the press will get him. After all, nearly all of them haven''t served either and they won''t like the implication that having not served makes one less qualifid. They''ll call McCain on that nonsense and he''ll be left with nothing. - Reply to this comment
