- The approach might have been lame, but the words are true- Who doesn''t agree that Clinton feels she is entitled to this role- If she were not married to Bill she would have no chance at all. She is still not qualified. HA

- Pastors certainly have freedom of speech. But I can only wonder to what purpose it serves to make political statements during a moment of prayer. I suppose the Rev. Wright situation has opened up the fact that controversial political things can be said by just about any pastor to their congregation. So, there really should not be any controversy because I can attest to the fact that my pastor could and has made political comments that could be interpreted as controversial outside the congregation. However, it saddens me when pastors inject themselves into the political dialogue and publicly tear down other politicians or other pastors. These derogatory comments only serve to highlight these pastors'' lack of judgement and own self-righteous attitudes.

- Cheney talking about what America needs makes my skin crawl. Republicans like him are only concerned with power and how they can use that power to pad thier pockets. Thief, liar, creep, Cheney, you suck.

I`ll be Glad when All Candidates say, in Debates `I`m implementing the Seperation of Church & State Rule` ...

- Giuliani said he believed John McCain would beat Obama, assuming he wins the nomination over Hillary Clinton.
The addage of "Takes one to know one" means that McSame will lose.....coming from the loser Giuliani"s mouth.
Free speech to all the religious nuts, but equally my freedom to ignore your rantings. - Reply to this comment
- Obama the GREAT liar: During the Memorial Day speech in New Mexico, Obama suggested his grandfather, the late Stanley Dunham, engaged in combat. But the Democratic senator''s autobiography says his grandfather never saw "real combat." "My grandfather signed up for a war the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed, fought in Patton''s army. He saw the dead and dying across the fields of Europe; he heard the stories of fellow troops who first entered Auschwitz and Treblinka. He fought in the name of a larger freedom, part of that arsenal of democracy that triumphed over evil, and he did not fight in vain." Gramps returned from the war never having seen real combat, and the family moved to California, where he enrolled at Berkeley under the GI bill," he writes.
Army records apparently contradict Obama''s claim his grandfather signed up the day after the Pearl Harbor attack. Obama''s 2002 claim his grandfather enlisted in the Army the day after the bombing of Pearl Harbor is contradicted by Army records showing Dunham signed up June 18, 1942 %u2013 six months after Pearl Harbor. And on the Senile front: First it was the "I visited 57 States" , now he''s seeing dead people. Obama saw "fallen heroes" in the audience. The statement apparently was scrubbed from an official transcript on Obama''s campaign website. LOL. What Sheeple. - Reply to this comment

- Typical Repugnican hot air from clueless *** Cheney, talking about making the tax cuts for the upper-crust GOP donors permanent. As our debt spirals out of control in this country due to Skippy''s useless war in Iraq, only somebody who lives in a bunker could prattle on about a Republican congress and a Republican president, as about 70% of voters in this country see the current GOP stewardship of the executive branch to be sub-par at best, and the elections of 2006 can speak for themselves. But no, Cheney growls on, accompanied by Rudy Guiliani, whose own candidacy got so far.
And despite the oil industry saying they haven''t built new refineries due to a lack of need, Cheney still finds time to distort the truth...again. With this guy, you can tell when he''s lying because his lips are moving.
One wonders even if new refineries were to be built, how many "American workers" would be employed there, versus cheaper Latin American workers that Big Oil brought in to keep the large sums of money where GOP partisans want it most-in the hands of the rich and few while the rest of us can tough it out and fight for the crumbs. - Reply to this comment

It had to be said, these Obama Hate Mongers are Hypocrites.
If Mccain has Hagee & Parsley to Denounce, they give McCain the Pass, Every Excuse, but when its Obama...They just Pile On.
Seperation of Chuch & State...For All Candidates.
They should not Attend Church...Anywhere.
Because the Pastor-Preacher can say Anything Controversial, at Any Time and this can Only Hurt the Politician, who may or may not have been in the Church, when the Pastor- Preacher says what he says.
All Politicians should use this Election as a sign...Seperate, Church & Stae...Permamently. - Reply to this comment
- So now according to Cheney we haven''t built a new refinery in 50 years. Just last week it was since the mid 70''s. So which one is it Uncle Dicky? How can you tell when the current administration is not telling the truth? It''s when you see their mouth moving.

- ........."Otherwise, Democratic leaders would allow the cuts to expire he explained, adding %u201Cthey wouldn%u2019t have to move a muscle to do it."
Not only should the cuts be allowed to expire, they should be rescinded as soon as humanly possible.
The cuts only benefit 1% of Americans to the DETRIMENT ALL THE REST OF US! That would be 99%!
I believe you would call this a "no-brainer."
Can we keep on spending money we do not have like drunken sailors?
Making the cuts permanent uis impossible to defend.
They should never have happened.
They are responsible for wrecking our economy.
They are responsible for ruining our standard of living.
We may or may not be able to return to the way things were in the last century. - Reply to this comment

- Gee - what a surprise. The GOP using religion to politically attack someone else, and for their own greedy ends. How Christian of them.
There isn''t really a better use for prayer, like asking for world peace, or ending hunger. No, let''s use it for our own political ends. After all, God is a Republican, right? - Reply to this comment
