Maybe Obama should have spent more time doing some personal vetting and introspection with regard to the types of associations he''s had over long periods of time before running for office. It''s clear that Obama is morally bankrupt because he has a penchant for allying himself with rather bitter, hate-filled, racist and bigoted friends, clergy and confidants. Obama has clearly demonstrated is inability to make sound judgments. He also lacks the ability to discern right from wrong. Obama has also played the electorates as fools, since at this stage in his candidacy, he knows no one will have the courage to call him on any of this, totally jeopardizing any continuation of his running for office. Obama is just as racist and bigoted as the likes of Wright, Pfleger and others. Intelligent people know the difference, fortunately.

iddem, many of the founding fathers were freemasons, who did not believe in organised religion at all.

o_nolan, What makes me laugh is the claim by Christians that this country was founded on Judeo Christian beliefs, yet when asked they can''t say what those beliefs would be. Democracy, not allowed in the Bible, they were ruled by kings and any attempts at voting or choice were punished by God, according to their Bible.

Freedom of religion, the First Commandment does away with that.

This country was founded on Grecco Roman fundamentals, the concept of Democracy and a Republic, both foreign and unlawful according to Judeo Christian rules, St. Peter did experiment with a form of government though, but it was much more related to Marxist Communism where the "community" or commune owned everything, remember he killed a guy and his wife for not turning over the money from the sale of their property to Peter''s Commune.

Christians did run governments for a few centuries though, I believe they called that period of history The Dark Ages.

Spineless jellyfish? How about your president who shirked his national guard duty, which he received because of his daddy, while others his age were dying in Vietnam.

Religion and politics are so intertwined in this country, it''''s ridiculous. Who cares what these pastors say? They aren''''t spokespeople for the candidates.

You know what makes me laugh? It''s okay for the neocons to talk about preachers and priests and their warped opinions, but as soon as Islam is brought up, they cry foul, but don''t make the connection that it''s the same premise. Ever heard of separation of church and state people? The candidates need to leave these liabilities out of their campaigns from the onset.

jerr11, you''re wrong, NeoCons aren''t Natural Born Killers, they don''t have the balls to do any killing themselves, they send others to do it for them. Look up the original PNAC letter from 98'' and look at the names of those who signed, find one person who ever went to War himself. Remember too that Bush not only claimed that God told him to run for President, God also told him to go to Afghanistan and Iraq, do you think that maybe he has confused *** Cheney with God? I know some of Bush''s true believers think Bush himself is God, some have their children praying to cardboard cutouts of Dubya, I wonder what god thinks about that?

"you bleeding heart liberals are made for one thing. target practice!"

***? bswalker12 seems to suggest it''s okay to shoot and maybe kill your fellow countrymen based strictly on political philosophy.

Your swastika armband is showing fella. You aren''t a patriot, you''re sick.

No matter what our political views, in this country, DEMOCRACY means we can all express them without fear of nimrods like this shooting people in retaliation. Alas some on the lunatic fringe of the right feel differently. Here''s an example of how far in the toilet this country has sunk during the Bu$h years.

jerr11, they don''t want to hear the numbers. They have so completely convinced themselves that they are right, that the fallout is a side issue for them. They are soul less.

Bush of course is the Son of Satan.

He went into Iraq after talking to his Father in hell.

And killed thousands there.

Including 4085 Americans.

What part of "Thous shalt not kill did he not understand?"

Bush - Son of Satan.

Damned for all time.

Maybe this Preacher is looking for a TV show, joining Hege, Parsley and all the other con artists looking for "Love Donations" from their Republican followers.

Cheney brings up the lack of refinery construction in the U.S., but like others he doesn''t mention that the Big Oil Companies haven''t proposed any new refineries in years and when they did they refused to build them to existing EPA standards and that they usually chose environmentally sensitive locations instead of safer and more appropriate ones mainly in order to have the excuse of not building them because of the tree huggers.

Draft Dodger *** also claims that gas prices are higher because of a shortage in Oil, if Oil is in such short supply then what would new refineries refine and why are so many of the refineries presently in operation either shutdown or operating at 75% or less capacity, and, again, why are 80% of the Oil and Gas wells already drilled in the U.S. "capped" and not pumping oil?

Maybe "god" is punishing America by causing outrageous gas prices like he does with hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and droughts, but I think it''s more likely that the same people who met with Draft Dodger *** back in early 01'' are operating according to the plans they made then and are manipulating prices......Just like ENRON and the Energy crisis, after all many of the same Enron people are involved in Oil Futures today.
