I guess CBS'' Maria Gavrilovic couldn''t get a suitable photo of a crowd of 75,000,000 but it is a nice photo of HER. Here is a link to a series of beautiful photos of the rally that reminds one of Bobby Kennedy days. And if you look real close you''ll notice that at least SOME in the crowd resemble average, white, working class, uh, white, uh , workers, uh, did I mention WHITE?.....voters. God bless you, Barack. YES WE CAN!

Perhaps you should grow up and quit expecting the rest of the world to pay for your gluttony.

"Do you fruitloops hear what the guy is saying?

What''''s he going to do?
Take God and guns away, and now air conditioning? So that''''s a problem too?

Who exactly invented electricity, automobile, and air conditioning?

Uh, no one "invented" electricity, the automobile was invented by the French, I''ll grant you air conditioning.

However, your argument is childish and very uninformed. Obama is saying what has to be said, namely we can''t expect the rest of the world to start changing their consumption habits while we consume more energy and food than all other third world nations combined.

How much what % of this large gathering (Obama''s supporters indeed) would the HRC supporters think were of %u2026"Hard Working Americans.... White American"%u2026 classification. I would go out on a limb and venture a guess... A WHOLE LOT... the majority of the crowd (We talking 75000 in Portland). Yet I stand corrected.

Soooh what is/was HRC''s implied point again about her big win in WV about a particular group of folks who would not vote for Barack? Her point seems so old fashioned / out of place if not entirely lost in this grand thrust to a better America. The power of this beautiful land for me has always been that there is in place this special social mechanism (for want of better descriptive word) that commands it to fix /correct itself. America is again in the process of peacefully fixing itself with the likely Democratic presidential nomination of a non white person. There was even the opportunity to fix itself with the election of a female, but that opportunity was not seized upon.

I am for the first time specially energized to participate in something as profoundly political as the general election of the nation%u2019s president. While my vote would be definitely for BO, it would more importantly be for the blessed correction that is going to happen.

"We can''t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK," Obama said.

"That''s not leadership. That''s not going to happen," he added.
