ban-one1 , I wasn''t then, I was born in the early 60''s, but these were dark times when women had few rights, blacks had few rights, vigilanty justice was accepted sexual abuse was hidden from society and accountability was in it''s infancy. Don''t believe the Hollywood depiction of it being all apple pie. I do think that there were many very positive things growing up during these times. I think we all care about these issues, it''s just the approach we differ on. I uses to idolize America growing up. You are the leaders of all of us. We look to you for strength and guidance. This has been sorely lacking for many years now and I would say that is why I am so interested in this election. Republicans have had the presidency the majority of the time since WWII, so the blame for how things have unravelled in your eyes is to be evenly shared.
