bethorr, I have no idea what you''re talking about. Since when has Barack refused to pledge allegiance to the flag? I believe you are referring to the video of Barack standing respectfully while the national anthem was being played. As a former Sailor and current Navy employee I know that is the correct attitude to take when the anthem is played, as it is every day when the flag is raised on the base I work on, not standing with your hand over your heart. Only when you pledge allegiance do you put your hand over your heart.

Unless you know something the rest of us don''t you might want to explain yourself.

How can we vote for a man to run the presidency that will not even pledge to our flag?? If he does not stand for our freedom and everything else we were built on??

Shame on Harvard in elimination of Geography!and to Gatecrusher who asked where is Guam? Guam, sir is where my husband,a Sargent.of a machine gun squad fought with the 77th division (A New York Div.) in WWII,then on to Leyte, and Philippines;then to Okinawa where he lost his life.Guam is an island just south of the Mariana Islands and north of the Carolinas.Philippine Sea on the left and Pacific Ocean on the right. Our hearts still ache.

Apparently even Hillary knows how to pick a winner. Sounds like she''ll be voting for Obama, too.

The reason why Obama supporters are unimpressed by her words is that they''d like her to settle on one personality and perhaps pick up a code of ethics while she''s at it, so as not to confuse. If she one day says she is honored to sit next to him at a debate, then the next day says he is unfit for office, what are we to think? If you are honored to sit next to someone, then conduct your campaign in an honorable way, end of story. I couldn''t imagine Edwards, Richardson, or Kucinich conducting their campaigns the way Hillary has. So at this point anything out of her mouth has to be taken with a grain of salt. Who knows what personality will be on exhibit next.

Gatecrusher7,
The reason you do not know where Guam is located is because the President of Harvard University in the 1960 decided that Geography was no longer needed as a specific discipline, and so he eliminated the Department of Geography. Soon thereafter, many other universities followed Harvard''s example. This triggered an elimination of Geography from k-12 schools across the US, and so now we have people like you who do not know where Guam is located or how it became collected to the US. Our schools are more interested in teaching political correctness than topics like geography. Some schools teach what is called social studies, but it is NOT Geography. Our ignorance of geography has resulted in many international policy and political mistakes, such as the invasion of Iraq. Do not blame this mistake on the current administration, because Democrats and Republicans alike didn''t even know the difference between the Sunni and Shi%u2019a religions, and if they had, they would have known that such an invasion was not going to be a cake walk.
