- Obama has done plenty - written two books, traveled to Africa, organized in Chicago, ran for office and won twice, been on committees, sponsored bills and now is running for president and putting up with a grueling race. He is also a unifier, not a divider.

- According to Obama he''s been in politics for 11 years, and what has he done? very little. Hillary has passed 2.7 bills per year in the US Senate to his .7. So really is he saying jus because I''ve never worked hard for posiotive change in the past have faith I will do it now...
Or is he saying his usaual the USA is a disaster, Everyone in Washington is corrupt and only he can save US. half the time he says Hillary did nothing as first lady. he basically ignores her 2-tems in the Senate and now he blames her for not achieving Health Care the first time, when she was fisrt lady... and of course he''s above the fray and not Negative. I trust Hillary to end the war and deliver a Health care plan that covers everyone and we can afford.
I have no faith in Obama, he''s a wild card. he could be worse than Bush, and that''s not chnage I can believe in. - Reply to this comment
- The GOP has such little faith in America that they can only feel patriotic by categorically denouncing all people that are critical of it, regardless of intent. They use this amputated, insecurity to judge Obama''s patriotism, a man who gave up 6-figure jobs after graduating Magna-Cu*-Laude to fight for blue-collar folks, for $12K per year.
Clinton has never shown the courage to stand up for democratic principles:
1. Rendell praises Farrakhan, yet Hillary attack Obama for being praised by F.

2.Bill Clinton pardons two leaders of the Weather Underground, yet Hillary attacks Obama for knowing a third
3. Clinton Foundation gets $131 million for Bill''s public declaration for Kazakhstan''s leader...undercuting both American foreign policy and sharp criticism of Kazakhstan%u2019s poor human rights record by, among others, Mr. Clinton%u2019s wife, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York.

- Obama is the only candidate to pass healthcare reform for 150,000 parents/kids in IL, a state of 14M.
Barrack''s 800+ bills from 8 years in the Illinois senate are far more extensive than Hillary''s entire elected record.

His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These included:
**the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 (became law),
**The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, (became law),
**The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate,
**The 2007 Government Ethics Bill, (became law),
**The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, (In committee), and many more.
The change Obama has in mind revolves around ending partisan deadlock. But even then, he''s not talking about "some pie-in-the-sky, let''s hold hands and sing Kumbaya" transformation of Washington, he says. If the Democrats fail to win a filibuster-proof majority of 60 senators, Obama hopes to peel off Republicans on issues like health care and education. This has always been Obama''s approach: he is a consensus politician, not a radical. - Reply to this comment
- To croft777:
McCain doesn''t wear a flag pin and calls questions about it ridiculous.
So once Obama can stand in comparison to another candidate who also "gets" that patriotism is about action not costumes, this issue won''t be raised.
McCain was swiftboated by the same people who funded the Kerry hit job. His patriotism was questioned by Bush aides.
He has made so many statements on the record about what he thinks about that kind of BS that if he even starts to go there, he will be subject to youtube tape loops that will make the "Tale of Tusla" seem like a Saturday morning cartoon...
And as for sexism...I am a 48 year old woman who thinks that HRC has set back the cause of feminism at least 20 years. Consider this one fact, not lost on any man I know, democrat, republican, educated or not: every time she falls short, she tries to change the rules of the game mid stream.
Jon Stewart has the funniest take on this sad pattern...but she is no standardbearer for women who would like to just compete on an even playing field.
Did it ever occur to you that the media might hate her because they have to swallow her lies for 35 years?
Lest we forget, her favorite group to blame for many of her "missteps" is the media. - Reply to this comment

- "Yes, Senator Clinton was ahead of her time when she pushed for Health care reform. Insurance and drug companies, along with Republican shenanigans interfered. Obama has NEVER taken anything on of this magnitude in Washington, so how is he going get anything done? He had a lackluster run as a JR. Senator-he was no trailblazer.
I would much rather have Clinton who has learned from tackling huge issues-and was extremely productive and effective in the Senate"
She could not get anything done regarding health care, even with Bill in the White House.
She can`t even run a campaign. Her lack of leadership and oversight is a dismal example of how she`d run the country. She is relying on pettiness and politics. It won`t work this time. - Reply to this comment
- Hillary looks so fake. I am sick of this liar: Bosnia snipe fire, dead pregnent womon, NAFTA opposion.... She thinks she can spin and sale anything to us. Go Obama!

- In 2004, it is pretty obvious that Hillary did nothing to help John Kerry beyond giving a speech at the convention and waging a token campaign on his behalf. Bill did even less. Their goal was obvious: they wanted Kerry to lose to Bush so that Hillary could run in 2008. Is she playing the same game now? Only time will tell.

I saw that then, and that''s why I''ll never vote for Hillary!!! - Reply to this comment
