I just had to respond to "BLKPRESIDENT''s" comment about not having a "''lil woman or OLD man McCain" as president. If I were Obama I would be seriously disturbed to have your kind of support on a team that has positioned itself on unity and nondiscrimination. I am a Clinton supporter and a woman and I take offense at her being referred to as a "''lil woman". And your reference to McCain as an "OLD man" is age discrimination. Your statements are discriminatory and inflammatory, grow up and judge the candidates on real issues.

Uh, this thing has gotten so overblown in every way. If only people paid half this much attention when Bush was lying about Iraq we''d be so much better off.

Obama doesn''t hate America, and therefore who cares if his Rev. does or doesn''t. Vote for who you want, but lets at least talk something substantive.

Regarding Senator Obama''s unfortunate comment that his
grandmother was a "typical white person", I for one,
am a white person who was offended. Not because it is
pejorative, but because some of us have spent our lives not being so-called "typical white
people" and have stood side by side, with those who
fought for equality.

I once saw Obama as a major step forward in that
fight. Now, I feel betrayed, and yes, offended.

Rev. Wright isn''t running for president. Besides, let''s face the truth, America doesn''t need a ''lil woman or OLD man McCain. Missy and Gramps are out.

%u201CThe 9/11 statement I became aware of in the New York Times after I announced my candidacy,%u201D he said. %u201CThe reason I did not decide to leave the church was because I saw Rev. Wright retiring.%u201D

In other words, since he was retiring soon, it won''t affect me politically. What about saying something to help someone realize the error of their ways? What about taking a stand for the memory of those victims, whose bodies were still being pulled from the rubble when those offensive comments were uttered?

Let''s have a show of hands. If you''re Obama-bashing in this forum and voted for George W. Bush in 2004, raise your hand. Let''s see, that''s 1, 2, 3...OK, let''s just say most of you. Not a particularly impressive track record for judging character.

I wish people would pay better attention instead of spewing venom as a pastime. I understood this point perfectly well by the time Mr. Obama gave his speach. He has been consistant on this. I was a little shaken when the controversy broke and did some reasearch into this myself. Some of you others would do well to do the same when these sensationalistic stories are detonated before our feet by the Press. Those spitting and cursing Mr. Obama, to my way of thinking either did not pay attention to what he has consistantly said; didn''t listen to what he said in his speech; or they are racists. It is no more complicated than that and you who hide behind your fake outrage are the worst.

You mean the kind of thinkers who thought it would be a good idea to re-elect George W. Bush?

If J. Wright were a real theologian as Obama claims, he''d know that Christianity is about forgiveness and he''d be preaching sermons about how his congregation should forgive America for it''s past. He''s be preaching sermons of healing. That''s what Jesus would preach!

Fox exposes Obama''s contradictions.
Why shouldn''t he be questioned on his many flip/flops?
There should be some media balance, especially since CNN is shamelessly in bed with him.

Lies and more lies those dvds have been for sale for a long time and for no one in his political team to advise him of them is not to be believed.
A ground root movement of Democrates against Obama is picking up steam and will be nation wide very fast.
I know the DNC is pushing for Obama because they know that if he were not to get the nomination the young and Black community would be rioting in the streets.
You wont see Middle aged White women blue rioting .
But beleive be alot wont vote for Obama, by voting Republican or not voting at all.

I suppose Obama didn''t know about the pro-Hamas article in his church bulletin either. Hamas is a well-known terrorist organization. In an issue dated July 22, 2007 the church printed an article on Pastor''s Page by Hamas official Mousa Abu Marzook in which he justifies Hamas'' withholding of recognition of Israel''s right to exist.

I think this is more of the same. What about over a yr ago when he sat there listening to anti American sentiments. Obama Attended Hate America Sermon

Contrary to Senator Barack Obamas claim that he never heard his pastor Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. preach hatred of America, Obama was in the pews last July 22 when the minister blamed the white arrogance of Americas Caucasian majority for the worlds suffering, especially the oppression of blacks%u2026..Obama claimed, The statements that Rev. Wright made that are the cause of this controversy were not statements I personally heard him preach while I sat in the pews of Trinity [United Church of Christ] or heard him utter in private conversation.
In fact, Obama was present in the South Side Chicago church on July 22 last year when Jim Davis, a freelance correspondent for Newsmax, attended services along with Obama. In his sermon that day, Wright tore into America, referring to the United States of White America and lacing his sermon with expletives as Obama listened. Hearing Wrights attacks on his own country, Obama had the opportunity to walk out, but Davis said the senator sat in his pew and nodded in agreement. Addressing the Iraq war, Wright thundered, Young African-American men were dying for nothing. The illegal war, he shouted, was based on Bushs lies and is being fought for oil money. ..%u2026) 2008 Newsmax.
