- Wright has received criticism for comments he%u2019s made from the pulpit, such as saying that blacks should condemn America for %u201Ctreating our citizens as less than human,%u201D and that the U.S. brought 9/11 on itself because of its foreign policy.

Even taken out of the complete context of the entire speech, he''s not wrong now is he? Our foreign policy is most definitely a major contributor to the Middle East''s hatred of us. Also, don''t you find it rather funny how all the white people want to keep the Holocaust alive but God forbid a black person should call America''s attention to the brutalization that was perpetrated upon their ancestors in the building of this country. What''s good for the goose etc. I don''t see why these remarks should hurt Senator Obama, they have more than a ring of truth to them, except for those who are still in denial. - Reply to this comment
- jaxsterling,
Please don''t misrepresent Senator Obama''s response to a terrorist attack. America''s safety is a paramount issue in this race, and somehow a girl or OLD man McCain doesn''t exactly strike fear or respect into our terrorist enemies. - Reply to this comment
- Some things JUST CANNOT EVEN BE MISCONSTRUED or taken out of context, no matter how hard you try.
Yes, words do matter.

- The RED PHONE rings at 3am in the Oval Office: The ''lil housewife is too busy writing a cookbook with tasty recipes; OLD man McCain naps through the call and misses an opportunity to protect America and keep us safe; but, Obama is alert and on guard.

- Terrorist1: I hope America votes for the housewife.
Terrorist2: I hope America votes for OLD man McCain.
Teerorist3: Have to agree with both of you, because if America votes for Obama then we will have a problem dealing with a real MAN.
Terrorist1: Guess you''re right there.
Terrorist2: Just when I thought we could match wits with a girl or an OLD feeble man, Obama emerges. A good day for America, but a bad one for us. Bring on the housewife or OLD man McCain, so we can pretend to be afraid, but laugh behind America''s back. - Reply to this comment

- If Hillary or McCain had a 20 year relationship with an Anti-American and anti-black priest they describe as their spiritual mentor they both would rightly be DOA and their political careers finished...

- blondechic,
''lil Hillary has you hoodwinked. When that RED PHONE rings in the Oval Office at 3am while you''re fast asleep, ask yourself this one simple question? Do you want a woman, an OLD man like McCain or Obama to answer that phone. Exactly, terrorist don''t fear missy in an apron offering a batch of homemade cookies, nor do they fear an OLD man in need of daily naps with his favorite "blankie" Vote smart, Blondechic. - Reply to this comment
