- "...If Obama said the deligates should not be seated then you will qoute him and his now saying he want them to be seated because he is behaving like leader who want justice,..." posted by Sammykay3
All well and good IF Sen. Obama flip flops?
First he says NO WAY should the delegates count because of the rule, now he says YES ONLY IF, and you defend that?
So you say It is ok for Sen. Obama to cry foul but Not Sen. Clinton. What double standards have come out in this election from the Obama camp.
THAT IS THE PROBLEM!
HE has not denounced or rejected his people for their attacks on Clinton, although Clinton has rejected all who have made any hint of a statement that could be misconstrued. And it is Ok if Obama allows all this mud slinging to go on, but Clinton gets tied to the rafters for it.
Sorry, he is divisive to say the very least, opportunistic, spoiled, arrogant, self centered and plays both sides of the street - always with the innocent facade. I DO NOT BUY IT! Sen. Obama is VERY weak in character and proves it time and again. - Reply to this comment
- I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND SOME POEPLE CAN NOT FACE THE TRUTH!!!!
The truth is there is a rules, then follow the rules
I am not for Obama nor Hillary,
If Obama said the deligates should not be seated then you will qoute him and his now saying he want them to be seated because he is behaving like leader who want justice,
To my suprise if some poeple who were writing damaging opinions about both candidate are true Democrats and they have the love of the party in heart they will not use the power of their pen to tier the party into pieces, they will rather use the power of their pen to unite the party.
I beleive some of the poeple here are republican who are trying to create enemity and distabilize domocratic party
BEWARE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. FOLLOW YOUR HEART AND PRAY FOR GOD WISDOM

- She has spent her life trying to help the powerless. Yet no one remembers that, or they discount it and spread lies meant to destroy her. The woman is a hero, and she is my hero. The tragedy is that few really know her because so many lies were thrownat her that people started to believe it. If Hillary was your mother, your wife, or your sister, how would you feel about it? You would not be too happy, I am willing to bet! To those who participate in the Hillary Lies and have never bothered to find out the real truth, shame on you.

- Hillary was a republican who was cherry picked much like Obama was for the Democrats. She left it all and became a democrat over the civil rights movement.

- Just for the record Mr. Obama, there were jews and whites who risked their lives, their fortunes, to stand up for what was right and participate in the civil rights movement. These same people who could have staid on the sidelines and said not my fight, but did not, are now being called racist. People should check out the real Hillary Clinton and she what she has sone in her life before embracing the lies meant to destroy her.

- You ar kidding yourself if you think the Florida democrats a large majority whom are older will not punish the DNC in november if their votes are not counted. These Hillary haters to take a line from a song, "keep on spinning the lies to make up for all that they lack. All Kennedy and these others have done is make it much more likely that McCain wins in November. It is all the easier to vote republican this year because McCain is a moderate.
I care about Hillary and support her but no matter what she says I will not vote for Obama and it is not about race it is about Obama as a person. If Obama was part of the Hillary ticket I would reluctantly vote for it, and a few days ago I would have embraced it. I am now so disgusted with Mr. Obama and his cleaver games that having Obama on ticket almost pushes me to McCain. It is only Hillary that would prevent me from doing so. - Reply to this comment
- Barack Obama argued today that the Michigan and Florida delegates should have a role in the Democratic convention, but that the delegates that Hillary Clinton won in those states should not be allocated to her. He said it %u201Cdefies logic%u201D to give her the delegates because the candidates agreed to abide by Democratic National Committee rules and not campaign in those states..."
Obama''s logic is slanted. Yes he did campaign in Florida, Clinton did not. His name was on the Ballat along with Clinton''s.
So he says they SHOULD count but not if it goes to Clinton. This is his typical "My way or No way", attitude.
When he was down on delegates he cried the popular vote should count for the Super Delegates. Now he says it is all about Delegate numbers? "My way or No way".
He is so typical of an only child spoiled by his grandparents. We already have a self declared ruler in the POTUS, imagine this spoiled child ranting and raving with "My way or No way" as the POTUS.
Sorry he needs to mature with a few hard knocks under his belt, before he is ready to WORK in the highest office in the USA. - Reply to this comment
- Well, Ladies and gentlemen, on FL MI voting issue, has it been agreed by the party not to move the voting date upward? if it was agreed by the democratic party and every candidate accepted, then there is no case. the justice has been done. The rule say do not do this if you do it you will loose your benefit. You have already know the outcome of your action before you vote , then why did you waste your time and energy to go out and vote. why can''t you wait for the right time the party agreed to conduct the election? I dont think there is need to cry
To the Leaders of Democratic and party whips, the ball is in your court. Use your wisdom and do the right thing.
No matter what happens after this pimary, Democrat voters in both FL and MI will go out in November and support whoever is chosen as their candidate to white house to put the country back to normal.
There is no need to distroy a party that is already on their way to victory.
The Replican institution in FL are just using their power to distabilized Democrat in FL. but to my disbelieve some Democrat are just falling into this tricks. Wake up Democratic party!!!!!
Who ever come 1ST should be the president nomenee and whoever come 2ND should be Vice, aftet 8 years if they can deleiver what people want the Vice president can then stand and run for presidency surely he will win.
Do away with selfishness ans self Centred. come together and work your way to victory. - Reply to this comment
- This is so ridiculous-
-Florida bosses make a decision based solely to get more exposure by moving up their primary.
-Florida bosses were informed of consequences of doing so but make a concious decision to go forward anyway with the new time table.
-The candidates were informed of the consequences and agreed to them, including not campainging their.
-The candidate that would benefit most from having this tainted election count is shocked that the people of Florida won''''t be heard - when this information was known and agreed to months before.
-The Florida bosses are shocked that the consequences they knew about will actually be followed through on.
-The Florida bosses now claim the DNC is somehow to blame for the situation and need to take action.
I feel sorry for the people of Florida and Michigan that their votes and delegates will not count - but put your anger where it belongs - squarely on the party bosses and election officals that have made Florida the laughing stock of the nation when it comes to the election process.
The only action required by the DNC is to stand by their decision and MAYBE, JUST MAYBE the states will abide by the ground rules next time. - Reply to this comment
- Florida elected democrats voted 115 to 1 to move the primary. Republicans helped, but dems sure agreed. If this were a football team and your opponent was losing, would you vote to let them change the rules in their own favor at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Senator Clinton gave her word of "Honor" not to "participate" in early MI and FL elections. Could I loan her a dictionary? She seems a little confused about the definitions of "Honor" and "participation". If this were the other way around she would be ordering us to do the exact opposite of what she''s ordering us to do now. This is situational ethics at it''s worst. I live in Michigan and I lost my vote in the primary too, but I know cheating and cheap tricks when I hear them. I''m actively working to help get my candidate elected in the general election where it counts. I''m no victim. And if my candidate loses, you can bet I''ll be voting for the democratic opponent. How many of our kids are we willing to get killed in Iraq in the interest of our egos? Let''s not forget what we''re about and what we stand for.
