- Winghunter, The Founding Fathers had nothing to do with the 16th amendment and would be fighting a revolution over a tax that robbed and penalized our labor and a collection agency that threatened our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness (freedom). You see winghunter, if you would just stop and THINK, you would see that an all powerful government (which the Founder''s were against) can use this tax to manipulate citizens and if not complied with they send the gestapo to destroy anyone who gets in their way or does not submit/comply.

- Interesting comment, Dust27, Huckabee was NOT a very conservative governor outside of social issues.

- I''m sad that Huckabee left but lets look at the bright side. The democrats will probrably win this year anyway. After they''ve messed us up for four year maybe America will be ready for a true conservative. Go Huck 2012.
And if Mitt runs in 2012, I have one things to say. Kick his butt Huckabee( or should I say Chuck). He wasn''t a conservative as govenor and he woundn''t be as president. - Reply to this comment
- Any discussion of Huckabee''s "upset" over Romney at the Iowa caucus despite his financial paucity, is incomplete without the mention on Huckabee''s playing the religion card in that state - Christian leader ad, Christmas cross ad, Satan/Jesus comment, preaching in the churches, church phone trees.
If your will look at how he played on Iowan''s discomfort with Romney''s Mormon faith with an open mind, you will recognize how strongly Huckabee alienated a loyal portion of our country.
There was nothing enobling about the reasons why Huckabee won the Iowa caucus. - Reply to this comment
- Joy Lin, we will miss you almost as much as we will miss Governor Huckabee. You have been one of the few "joys" in this primary season. You are fair and balanced (unlike another network I''ve stopped listening to). CBS is, indeed, fortunate to have one of the only true journalists left in the business. All the best to you in your future endeavors. I''ll be looking for your name.

You are absolutely correct! What a man of honor! What a man of integrity and compassion! Mike has such incredible oratorical skills and the ability to communicate! Never before have I been so moved to support; to contribute; to stand up for a political figure! Never have I thrown myself into a cause for someone running for president! I am a Huckabee Ranger and proud of it! We "Rangers" will "stand by" until Mike asks for our help again! We are all waiting...waiting for him to call us back to serve again! Today I think about Mike and I am saddened that he''s out of this race..I already miss his presence! :( But, after a bit of introspective thinking and time to contemplate the future, I''m hoping and praying Mike will be rejuvenated and come charging back onto the political scene once again! WE LOVE MIKE!!!
MIKE HUCKABEE for 2012!!! - Reply to this comment
- HUCK has proved he is a Worrior.
Had it not been for the Washington political machine and biased and bought out media, He would have done much better. Had he had another 10Million more, he would have clinched the nomination.
The liberal plot worked and GOP is finished for 2008.
PROUD TO SUPPORT HUCK. - Reply to this comment

- To Winghunter: Mike Huckabee was one of the five best governors in America, and beloved by Democrats even though he was a Republican.
We know what Mike Huckabee is. What, may I ask, are you? - Reply to this comment
- The Huckster definitively defied convention;
* He defied conventional ethical behavior when he was convicted in five of 14 charges of ethic violations while governor.
* He defied conventional competency as according to one of his own aides his method of governance was merely putting out fires with no planning or forward thinking at all.
* The Huckster defied conventional conservatism by surrendering our nations sovereignty, pandered pipedreams of amendments to our Constitution directly against the design our founding fathers provided and blew more smoke of a Fair tax which can never be realized without repealing the 16th Amendment.
The man is a con artist but, we see idiots fawning over him because they, like he, have no idea what they''re doing or talking about.
