It''s critical to appreciate the pivotal role that our own border security plays in our "war against terrorism", keeping in mind that "Amnesty" is anathema to border security. A Nation without enforceable borders will not long survive as a Nation. Mitt Romney is exceedingly strong on each of these principles; while his opponent, John McCain, ( who conducted himself like a petulant child in the recent Republican debate ) has proven that illegal immigration is an issue on which he can NOT be trusted. Don''t be misled by McCain''s "Clintonian-Lies" concerning Romney''s record.

Are you guys nuts? Romney and Huckabee are not conservative at all!!!!!! Conservatism is about limited govt spending, no foreign adventurism, no warfare/welfare state, with no pork barrell moneywasting. Huckabee raised taxes in Arkansa, and Romney is no better in Mass. Both of these frauds want to stay in Iraq, just like McCain. No dimes worth of differnce between the 3 of them. Only Ron Paul espouses true conservatism. Unfortunaltey being a conservative anymore with mainstream America means being pro war.

Well, the perfect storm that results in me voting for a democrat for president is about to come to pass. Thanks a lot McCain.

I''m still pulling for Romney to surprise us on Tuesday and hoping we don''t have to suffer the arrogant disaster that will be a McCain presidency.

If John Mc Cain says "my friends" one more time I think I will vomit. He comes across as sanctimonious and subtly arrogant. He served his country well as a soldier, but has developed an ever increasing ego over the years working in the halls of Congress. The thing that scares me the most about him is he might actually believe most of the flattering comments that a largely liberal-leaning established news media like the "New York Times" say about him. At this important time in our country we need a candidate that realizes that the Office of President is all about pouring yourself out in service to your country, like McCain once did as a soldier, rather than having an enormous ego needing to be fed. If the American people do not always feed him his favorite food of flattery, will he remain steady under the tremendous pressure, or erupt in anger and make important decisions on our behalf that protect his thin skin rather than the now fragile heart of what makes our country great?

typical statement from the arrogant little egotist!
He is an angry little man (short man''s syndrome) who thinks he is more powerful and important than he really is. He is nothing more than a boot-licking worshiper of the Dems and the liberal media. Romney''s not the ideal conservative candidate but we can trust him to do the right thing for the economy, illegal immigration and our defense.

Allow me to explain what will happen. The same leftwing newspapers who have been lauding McCain will begin to savage Candidate McCain and his weak flank, Mrs. McCain. He''ll lose it and the independents and moderates will abandon him, of course the crossover dems were a spoiling group in the first place.

The conservatives and other core republicans, who remember his contempt in the immigration debate, will hardly rally to the cause of a cretin who spit on them.

At that point we''ll lose big. You moderates and independents are being suckered.

Of course at that point our enemies will attack at the first sign of weakness.

Oh, one peice of advice to the moderates. The internet has changed the world. After Hillary or Obama (or even McCain) really screw up, like Carter, you won''t be able to hide. I still remember wandering through Massachusetts in 1979 not finding one person who would admit to voting for Carter.

The bet the spineless are making is not for a destroyer, an embassy or a building or two. Now we''re betting cities, malls, wour economic wherewithal and our liberty.

Remember you veterans, Jimmy Carter had superb credentials as a Naval Captain.

AS A CONSERVATIVE, WHY? WOULD I VOTE FOR A CANDIDATE WHO HASN''''T VOTED WITH REPUBLICANS. AND WHO HAS HAD NOTHING BUT DISDAIN FOR US?

IF HE LOVES BEING A MAVERICK SO MUCH, WHY DOESNT HE BECOME AN INDEPENDENT? OR A DEMOCRAT? SINCE THAT SEEMS TO SUIT HIM BEST.

MCCAIN HAS ALREADY GIVEN US "AGITA" WITH HIS FORCING OF THE MCCAIN/FINEGOLD, HIS MCCAIN/KENNEDY, AND THE VERY LIBERAL, AMNESTY BILL. (YES, THAT''S WHAT IT WAS!! NO MATTER HOW HE TRIES TO SPIN IT).

MITT ROMNEY''S QUALIFICATIONS ARE SUCH THAT ANY CORPORATION WOULD BE LUCKY AND PROUD TO HAVE HIM ON BOARD.

YET, HERE WE ARE, FORTUNATE TO HAVE THIS PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE WHO IS COMPETING WITH A BUNCH OF OLD HACKS, SOME OF WHOM HAVE HELD OFFICE FOR MANY YEARS, AND STILL HAVE NOT DONE A THING ABOUT THE VERY PROBLEMS AND GRIEVANCES THEY NOW GO AROUND COMPLAINING ABOUT AND BLAMING US FOR.

CHANGE? EVERYONE IS CALLING FOR CHANGE. CHANGE WILL COME AS IT ALWAYS DOES IN OUR LIVES. BUT POLITICAL CHANGE THAT WILL BE BETTER FOR AMERICA, AND FOR US ALL, WILL NOT COME FROM A MCCAIN, HILLARY OR OBAMA.
THEY ARE SOCIALIST. AND WE WILL GET OUR POCKETS PICKED
BIG TIME!

MITT ROMNEY IS RIGHT FOR AMERICA RIGHT NOW!!!

HE HAS THE RIGHT STUFF, THE COMPETENT CREDENTIALS AND A CALM/TOUGH DEMEANOR AND ATTITUDE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB.

HE HAS MY VOTE!
