- Let''s see a vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain. So does that mean a vote for Romney is a vote for Huckabee? Or do I have to vote for Hillary to get my Huckabee vote to register for the man, the Huck.
This sounds a lot like 2000. So is a vote for Hillary really a vote for Bill Clinton or is it a vote for Al Gore.
Maybe if I vote for Ann Coulter it will actually be a vote for Bill Maher.
If I eat a chocolate ice cream cone do I actually get the nutrients from a broccoli-laced salad.
If I go to McDonalds do I actually get the equivalent of a Harvard Education? - Reply to this comment
- A vote for Huckabee is NOT a vote for McCain - look at the facts! The suggestion that Romney''s supporters are making that Huck is the one splitting the conservative vote has been proven untrue by an opinion poll just released from Fox news:

7. If John McCain and Mitt Romney were the only choices in the Republican
primary, how would you vote?
30-31 Jan 08
Republicans: McCain 62%/ Romney 29/ (Don%u2019t know) 6/ (Would not vote) 3
Not only is Huckabee still very much in the race & NOT taking votes from Romney, but clearly a vote for Romney is actually the one that''s a vote for McCain!!! (since the numbers prove that Huck''s votes would mainly go to McCain if Huck dropped out) Romney does not have a chance in the primary - let alone the general.
We conservatives still have a chance if we can rally quickly behind Huckabee! - Reply to this comment
- We''re supposed to be reassured that Romney ''doesn''t care about money?'', throws it around like it''s water, using it to grease his way into the presidency, after managing a company that prospered by breaking up companies & laying off people -- we''re supposed to be reassured that this is the man who is going to revive our economy and conserve our tax dollars?!
Um, sorry - not happening. - Reply to this comment
- Romney is not trying to run a business in his campaign. He has no wish for a return on his donations. He is running for President to help us all have a better and bright future. It is his way of giving charity by dedicating his life and time to turn around our country. He did it many times before by not taking a wage and spending millions to become governor and turn around Taxachussets. He did this when he declined tens of millions to leave his work to turn around the olympics and only accepted one U.S. dollar for his work.
I can''t believe the dumb remarks by people saying that Romney needs to keep money for his kids. You guys need to wake up. His family doesn''t care about money. Isn''t it obvious!
On the other hand all of the other candidates running only care about power and money and it''s despicable.
If you people are so corrupt to think that Romney is trying to make money as President you deserve who you are supporting.
Don''t come crying to me when the economy is down the drain and World War III is upon us. - Reply to this comment
- I''m a Cook County, IL voter. Probably impossible that any Republican candidate will win in the General Election here. I''m still voting for a Republican; I''m voting for Mike Huckabee because I believe he is the right leader.
Vote for who you believe is the right candidate and leave it at that. - Reply to this comment
- Joy Lin, Of course Sean Hannity endorsed Mitt Romney- would you bite the hand that feeds you? Hannity, like many other conservative radio talk show hosts, has his million dollar contracts for his radio show with Clear Channel. His contract was renewed in 2006 for three more years-right about the same time that Bain Capital started their buyout. As you might know, the FCC agreed to the final buy out of Clear Channel by Bain Capital last week. Mitt might no longer be physically at the helm of Bain but we all know that he is Still entrenched in this company- how else would he continue to have the income to spend on his campaign? Of course this will never be utterd in the media becuase Romeny is a major stock holder. Romeny is like a cross between Jim Stewart and Senator Payne in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. It''s amazing to me how Huck and Romney can be in statistical deadheat for second, yet even when Huck still had the edge Romeny''s media puppets promoted him to second place?

- I''m a conservative. Whether a candidate thinks they are the best conservative in the world does not matter to me right now. I want to vote for the candidate that is above politics, humble, sincere, a unifier, consistent, and who is real to the core with real integrity.
Huckabee winning the primary would be unbelievably amazing. Go Huckabee! - Reply to this comment
- Romney is a flip-flopper and McCain is a stubborn liberal. It is true that this is a two-man race now: Huckabee and Paul. I have great respect to these two fine men. The GOP is going to loose the Nov election if they want to re-define what conservatism is.

- When you think of ROI (return on investment), you would wonder how Romney would do if he were to be elected. A good business man is "good" only if he is making profits. So, with more than $20M of personal "loan", how will he make the profits in the future?
I no longer trust those self-appointed "conservative" talk shows such as Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh. Through the entire year of 2007, I''ve been waiting for a true conservative candidate to be in the top three. Unfortunately, one by one they dropped out and those remains seemed not able to break out of "2nd-tier". Until October/November, Huckabee was able to catch attention and started to climb. It is sad to see other so-called conservatives tried so hard to tear him down. - Reply to this comment
- A vote for Hucklebee is a vote for McCain. It is interesting that Hucklebee is so friendly to McCain who flip flops on conservative issues however Romney has always supported life as Govenor. He opposed the Gay marriages and fought them every step of the way. He had nothing to do with the Health Care system providing abortions. That was the judges.
Hucklebee lies about Romney just so he can get the nomination.
