Sorry, but if Romney supporters are going to get ugly about Huckabee''s record then here you go. - Reply to this comment
- Hi Newideas1,
You are kidding me right? This is political manuevering at its sickest level ... at least Romney is trying to expose it rather than remain silent and get steamrolled to the detriment of his supporters.
If you want something to boil your blood ... read this one:
http://blog.washingtonpost.com/behind-the-numbers/2008/02/parsing_the_gop_independents_1.html
This is pure political strategy orchestrated by nothing more than an old line politician such as McCain.
And how about the sleaze of it all having Arnold Schzngr leak to the press about supproting McCain DURING the CA debates?
Took away from the attention that Romney blew out the debate with McCain.
Folks that is what politicians do ... and Huckabee, McCain, and Giuliani are all long-standing, good friends that are orchestrating this farce.
Based on the numbers a vote for Huckabee is truly a vote for McCain.
IF YOU DON''T WANT A LIBERAL IN OFFICE, ROMNEY IS REALLY THE ONLY SHOT WE HAVE.
Politics are sickening.
Make your vote count and vote Romney. - Reply to this comment
- HUCKABEE A CONSERVATIVE ... RIGHT!
I think that you will all find this very interesting. In 1999 Mr. Conservative Huckabee sponsored a $500 a plate luncheon to raise funds for .... Giuliani. The reference is posted on Wikipedia and if you need the source document:

C''mon already ... let''s see, Giuliani immediately pulls out of the race after FL ... to the benefit of McCain .... and Huckabee stays in the race ... to the benefit of McCain. These guys have been in bed together on this for a long time.
A vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain!
HUCKABEE SUPPORTERS ... STOP BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF ... VOTE ROMNEY BEFORE YOU PUT A LIBERAL IN OFFICE. - Reply to this comment
- Mike keep up great work! We are supporting you all the way thru this.
Mike Huckabee reminds me of a great marathon distance runner. While other leaders in the race drop out from the shear fatigue, Mike keeps hanging in the race like a real runner does to the end.
While the other runners have gold plated shoes on that cushion each blow, Mike has his worn out Dollar store running shoes still on with holes in it keeping up with them with shear guts and determination.
While others are out there with the spotlight on them as the perceived winners, Mike is hanging on like a world class runner within striking distance.
Mike Huckabee is in the Olympic Race like underdog runner American Bob Schul was in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics on that rainy day on the track. This is Mike Huckabee in the race to the finish. Watch this video:

Keep up the great work Mike!!!

- Am I alone in having gone from viewing Romney as a reasonable (though not my first) choice for President to someone who makes me angrier and angrier with every headline-making sound bite he utters?
How dare any candidate for office say things like a vote for one candidate (Huckabee) is equivalent to a vote for another candidate (McCain). How dare any presidential candidate stand behind a man (Gov. Blunt - MO) while he says that a vote for a candidate (Huckabee) is a "wasted vote."
These types of remarks, and that line of thinking, are completely un-American and are clear attempts to undermine the democratic process and manipulate the media.
If this is a reflection of the current state of politics in this country, then I am disgusted. - Reply to this comment
- Huckabee can win! A vote for McCain is a vote for more of the same!

- Romney is a FAKE. He "custom made" himself to fit what he knew that republican voters would want in a President. He did the same thing not long ago making himself into the ANTI-LIFE, PRO-GAY, ANTI-GUN candidate that he knew Massachusetts wanted for Governor. Please join with me in telling Mitt Romney that we are not idiots and not interested in following a man who follows THE WIND.

- HUCKABEE SUPPORTERS ... GET THE FACTS!!
Emotions on this board are running high. Unfortunately, they are based on very little fact. Mike Hucabee presents himself very well ... and he should get an Academy Award for his performance. He certainly delivers his points with a well rehearsed preacher style which comes accross as honest. Many of these posts point to the fact they like him, trust him, and will vote for him because he is honest.
Well here are the real facts on Mr Honest. He was named "10 Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians" for 2007 by the Judicial Watch for 14 ethics complaints while he was govener. See for yourself:

Get the facts. Perhaps Huckabee''s acting ability is why he is stooging for McCain ... maybe Arnie can hook him up with an acting gig. - Reply to this comment
- Romney = Washington money hungry Red Tape Beaurcrate.
McCain = Honorable man, but old. President''s job is very demanding.
Huckabee = True conservative, most experienced running a government, charismatic, honest and true leader for change. - Reply to this comment
- One of Romney''s most prominent supporters in Atlanta said in an interview yesterday Romney must peel away Huckabee backers in order to win in the South.
"Our challenge is to get the Huckabee people to defect before next Tuesday," said US Representative Jack Kingston of Georgia. "One of our big obstacles right now is we are splitting votes with Huckabee. It is very frustrating."
JUST SPLITTING RIGHT NOW. COME TUESDAY WE WILL HAVE "STRIPPED" MOST OF ROMNEYS VOTES AWAY!
We Like Mike. Romneys overspent campaign has been a poor model of success, and people have seen enough of his lies!
VOTE 4 GOVERNOR HUCKABEE!
ONCE A HUCKABEE SUPPORTER, ALWAYS A HUCKABEE SUPPORTER!
