Next John McCain will be claiming that the Olympics were really not in trouble before Romney took over.

McCain has become so desperate, he is eroding his own credibility, and has become himself the ultimate "flipflopper". McCain now touts his economic expertise when only a short time ago he admitted that he didn''t know much about the subject. With regard to McCain''s expertise regarding the economy, check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhSQ

McCain relies heavily upon his military "leadership" as making him the best man for Commander In Chief. Yet, he recently criticized Mitt Romney for stating that the President of the United States should have a private plan, benchmarks and timetable for Iraq. McCain apparently wants the American people to elect him President and put him in charge of the war in Iraq without McCain having any
plan or time table for accomplishing that plan.

How can McCain claim to be qualified to be President because he is a military "leader" when he apparently has no plan or timetable winning in Iraq and bringing our troops home?

Whether you look at the economy or the war in Iraq, McCain''s own statements show he is not qualified to be President.

Wu Wei writes:

Two different situations
One reason I have trust in Romney, and why the spam-like posting of his supposed flip-flops doesn%u2019t faze me, is that he and John McCain were in totally different situations.

Romney was the Governor of a liberal state. As Governor he needed to actually get things done and make things work, not simply sit around and vote. Everything conservative which Romney did was swimming upstream, and fighting the crowd.

John McCain by contrast could simply take votes, without ever running anything. He claimed to be a conservative in the Republican Party. McCain would have simply been going with the flow to support President Bush''s tax cuts. Instead he decided to vote like a Democrat, one of only two Republican senators who voted against this tax cuts. The last 10 years have been doing that continuously, McCain fighting his own party by voting liberal. He also often went on TV and insulted various parts of the party, like pro-lifers and anti-amnesty people.

So there is no comparison between Romney''s situation and McCain''s. Every conservative thing Romney did cost him. McCain paid no price for helping Ted Kennedy and the New York Times pass their legislation.

In tennis terms what McCain did is called "an unforced error".
