- oh joy while the Party Liberals wallow in identity politics and social justice as the burning cause, Hillarys message of our countrys true burning issues are being drowned out ...we borrow money from the Chinese to buy oil from the Saudis....and all that goes with this the planets health, unemployment, a shaky global economy, Clinton wants to put people back to work, and protect this country. The Old Guard that has seen its day is the rich Liberal Lions of the Dem Party who mistakenly believe they know what is best for us, well social injustice is not my burning issue it is the kitchen table issue of households, student debt, crime, terrorism, war, high taxes, bankrupt States, energy policy, and unemployment when your rich and live in a compound I can understand how identity politics and social injustice are your burning causes, this is what the Dem party needs to leave behind this is the Old Guard why the liberals do not want to return to the middle the center and why they rail against Clinton.
This drag back to the fringe is not a party platform that is right for America, I would suggest the Kennedy read Chuck Schumer book. - Reply to this comment
- lets face it, Mr. Obama is looking good now, but when the primaries get to the states without so much influence by "Black" voters, and the serious kkk groups sharpen their work against Mr. Obama, Mrs. Clinton''s lead will appear and grow ...

- And now arriving by wheelbarrow. Anyhow, I hope he does not address him as Osama as he is prone to do. Minimize the damage Teddy. And, why all this anger still over Kerry''s loss?

- I don''t think an endorsement by Caroline Kennedy will influence anybody, especially nobody under the age of 50. Her sense of self-importance, along with the way the baby-boomer generation controls the mainstream media, means this story will get plenty of play, but it will never be important.

- Really do not think Kenndy did this since he likes Obama. He just did this because of some heated converstation with Clintons.

That is the conversation inquiring minds want to know, and I think it might be good for the country to hear it. - Reply to this comment

- Why? The Kennedy''''s never fully backed Bill when he was in the White House, why should they back his wife?

The Kennedys are nothing if not master politicians. It would seem the correct "political favors and connections" road would be to back the candidate with the biggest chance of winning, and lets face it, Mr. Obama is looking good now, but when the primaries get to the states without so much influence by "Black" voters, and the serious kkk groups sharpen their work against Mr. Obama, Mrs. Clinton''s lead will appear and grow, especially if Edwards drops out.
Thus, my mild surprise at the Kennedys'' early commitment to Mr. Obama, and my curiosity about the events that caused this to happen. - Reply to this comment

It was widely publicized that Sen. Ted Kennedy wasn''t endorsing anybody and was going to act as the peacemaker at the end of the nomination process, so for Sen. Kennedy to change his mind and endorse Sen. Obama along with Sen. John Kerry, they both must really be p.i.s.s.e.d at the Clintons!! - Reply to this comment
- After reading in a report that Mr. Kennedy read Mr. Clinton the riot act in a phone conversation after Bill''s mistake, (I would have LOVED to hear that conversation, call it "Bill and Ted''s excellent phone call") now the Kennedy''s decide to back Mr. Obama.
That must have been some heated conversation, because of a truth it seems highly unlikely that the Kennedys would back someone other than Mrs. Clinton without a really good reason.
It also makes it certain that, should Mrs. Clinton ultimately be the Democrat nominee for the general election, She will find it very hard to rationalize picking anyone else other than Mr. Obama for VP. - Reply to this comment
