- Romney is a class act. Arizona will support Romney over McCain. Florida voters should do likewise.

GARBAGE!!
Who the heck let this "not so" cleverly disguised, Janet Folger and Joseph Farah wannabee, closet liberal into THIS thread??? Is that you again Chuck? Maybe Huckabee is writing this himself.
I am thinking for myself and find MITT ROMNEY to be the ONLY qualified candidate in both camps to take on the office of Presidency of the Unites States.
Your esteem for the party? - who are you kidding? Republicans don''t even think that way - so save it!
Run your tail back to the DNC and quit trying to disinform people.
Huckabee has a glass jaw and would never make it to the fall contest. EVERYBODY KNOWS IT!!
Mitt Romney will be the next President of the United States and rightly so. We are at a time in our history where we need a leader that can bring what Mitt brings to the table. In fact, we need more (much more) of that!!!
We also need more Duncan Hunters'' and Fred Thompsons'', maybe some Tancredos'' with a hint of Paul. WE need someone that can get downright pissed off and actually fix with the problems that we face, secure OUR nation and amplify the armed forces, reform the tax code, manage OUR economy to put us back ON TOP of the world, reduce our dependency on other nations resources, protect the unborn and the elderly and most importantly codify the FAMILY (comprised of a husband, wife and their children) as the fundamental unit of society.- Reply to this comment
- Here is an accurate description of Romney in the campaign... yes, I copied this from somewhere else:
"[Romney''s] chameleon-like stance on issues and free-spending negative ad campaign have made him the most unpopular candidate among his GOP rivals."
If we let Romney win the nomination, we have just proven that you CAN buy the Republicans, regardless of your past record.
Another article put it this way (paraphrasing): "Why is it that the bar of conservatism is placed so low for Romney then raised so high for Huckabee?" That is an accurate description of what is happening among the conservative punditry.
Huckabee is, on the issues, more consistently conservative, has a better record as governor, yet is not given credit for this.
Do your own research and find out why, like myself, many have switched to Huckabee and are not switching back. - Reply to this comment
- If you were interviewing a candidate for CEO, and he padded his resume, lied about his ideas, and lied about his fellow applicants, would you hire him for CEO?
This, my friends, is Mitt Romney. Follow the money. - Reply to this comment
- Scott: That''s neat! I wish I could be there in Arizona to witness the rally for Romney.
But oh joy!...Romney will be in Ventura Co. CA at the Ronald Reagan Library on Jan 30, @ 5:00pm. - just a mile or two from where I live.
Unfortunately, it''s not a public event, but many of us will be waiting at the entrance to the Lib. when he and Mrs. Romney arrive and leave. - Reply to this comment
- Romney is a class act, there are 2000 people getting together this weekend in Arizona on Saturday and we are going to call 300,000 Republican voters.
Mark my words, McCain will lose his home state on Feb 5th.
Huckabee is finished, this a McCain VS Romney now.

- If we were interviewing these candidates to run one of the largest company in the world as CEO and had to compare resumes, Mitt is so far beyond the rest that it isn''t even a question. Isn''t that what we are really doing here?
Wouldn''t you hire the most competent, trustworthy person?
Having interviewed hundreds of people, hired, and fired, my key rule is to hire the ones who have done what I want them to do... before. And check their references.
Isn''t it obvious? It should be. Let''s hire the best person for the job.

- Romney out-measures the other candidates in every category: education, intelligence, commitment to family, accomplishment, morals, eloquence, handsomeness, height, and even an actual belief in a higher power . . . Romney is an Adonis for the GOP, and the party desperately needs an infusion of the qualities Romney epitomizes. Voters are so used to seeing incompetence, bigotry and sleaze in politicians that they have become uncomfortable with the very qualities they claim to value. If Romney loses the nomination for embodying them, we are doomed as a party and country.
