Iraq is a mess! It is not secure. The US military can never make it secure. The surge only "works" because they''re paying people to pretend to act normal, and it only works in those areas where all but one of the competing groups has been exterminated. The "insurgents" ("freedom fighters", to use Reagan''s term) just move to another area until our soldiers move on. We don''t have enough soldiers to occupy every inch of the county, and we never will. So, our soldiers are dying there for nothing. By continuing to support the war, *you* are causing more and more of them to die.

The whole story about the "progress" in Iraq is just more of the same lies and half-truths from the Chimp who just joined the so-called "cut-and-run defeatocrats" by saying that if things keep going "so well", he might cut the troops.
