If she is white, black, asian, hispanic, or chinese, should not be the issue. First, if she is on the Surpreme Court Bench, couldn't she just be "American"??? How about if she is actually qualified and can understand and judge based on the laws and amendments in place? Why is everything is this country now based on gender, sexual orientation and ethnic background, etc? What happened to the requirement..."most qualified for the job"?

hey all you olbermann listeners, i have breaking news for you. after that waterboarding by shock-jag mancow at WLS radio show, he was invited to keith (oblowman) olbermann's show, and keith says that he promised to give 10,000 dollars to the marine for mancow's stunt. so, today i was listening to the mancow show and he had the marine on. mancow asked the marine if he got the check from keith. he says no, he have'nt heard from him. so, now i will let all you oblowman listeners to figure out what kind of bold-face lying jerk he really is. honest comments needed.

I cannot believe that the republican party is so stupid as to oppose the first Latino Judge to the supreme court, not only is she well qualified, but over qualified in a sense. Who does these people think they are, do they really think that alienating more than 75% of the voting populous is smart politics must have been in Vice-president Cheney's graduating class( High School). I did not hear this type of stuff eighteen years ago when republicans put an idiot like Thomas on the bench solely for the purpose of race. So go ahead shoot-um-up Cheney and Pill poppin rush keep going and you will assure the Obama administration a second term.

In a 2007 debate during the campaign, then-candidate Obama said, "I would not appoint somebody who doesn't believe in the right to privacy." -- You've got to be kidding! Somebody pinch me. I wonder if Obama's unwaivering dedication to people's right to privacy also applies when they vote for union membership?
