- It saddens me to see the decline this country has been in. To see failing companies bailed out, a bandaid to society, that will inevitably always be on the verge of failing. How does the government expect anything to change. Is it not an act of insanity to do the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result. The only hope is in the future. Let natural selection take its course. Invest in education and ethics. Learn from a mistake and move on. Do not linger in it only to fester to the point of unavoidable amputation.

- This whole mess is Barney Frank and Chris Dodd's "mistake" in not writing the language in the TARP bill about "bonuses", but Chris Dodd wrote an Amendment to TARP to excude "bonuses" for AIG to be STOPPED, but were OKed by Congress? Incompetent on both their part, please take a "deep bow" and RESIGN or commit "suicide" Barney and Chris! Do it now and take RESPONSIBLITY for your "mistake" now!

- These banks say they have to pay these bonuses or they risk losing the "talent" to other banks. that is just B.S. they are trying to force down our throats because they believe we are that gullible. Sorry, but if the majority of large banking corporations are in trouble guess what? that "talent" won't go anywhere because there is noone else to pay them that kind of money. And as a tax payer that is gonna have this bailout held over my head for 30+ years till I retire I would like to know where the money is going and that includes explaining why CEO Joe blow is worth a $15 million bonus
