Washington Post: Alaska's Governor, Former GOP VP Candidate, Has Been Forced To Deal With Campaign Trail Fallout
- All you Sara haters can bash Sara all you want, but she is the Govenor of Alaska and she is not looking for a handout from Washington. She must be doing something right because her state is not in the red.

Good post. And, if you want to apply the "Bush" method for rating the success of Obama''s anti-terrorism methods, you could say that he has been very successful so far. We have not had a terrorist attack on the U.S. since he has been in office. - Reply to this comment
- A Palin run for the Presidency in 2012 will be a "must see" event. Can''t wait to see how she will run against fellow Republicans. This ought to be a real hoot as the GOP cannibalizes itself!

Bwwwaaaahhh ha ha ha ha ha
The redneck, wolf cub killing, fork tongued, chick is a PUBLIC FIGURE. A political figure at that. And public figures get scrutinized and judged. The judgment is out on Sarah Palin. Get used to it.
Her visions of grandeur are so entertaining. Watching her is like watching a comedy, something like the Beverly Hillbillys. - Reply to this comment

- n the 2008 election, the American public decided that Enough is Enough; and by a wide margin rejected the agendas of right wing, conservative, Bible thumper, whackos, including the ideologies of Rush Limbaugh, John McCain and Sarah Palin.

Yes, now aren''t we lucky? We have Obama, and an additional $787 Billion or was it Trillion dollars in debt to leave to our children, grand children, and great grand children. So far as I can tell, Obama hasn''t been able to sit down with the terrorists and reason with them. I''m still waiting for that one. - Reply to this comment
- Oh wouldn''t that be a kick to watch her and Mitt have at it for the nomination... Palin''s pretty much tied down in Alaska watch the Russians for us and playing with her imaginary pipeline- Mitt''s making California his home base so he can help Meg Whitman run for Governor and stake out the turf- And don''t leave out Huckabee now that he has a TV show...
ha ha ha ho ho ho

- but we women still do not have equality. Leave Sarah alone.

And you''ll never get it so long as women are pushed into competition base on their looks instead of ablility. Let''s face it, Palin is just plain stupid.
Hillary almost won the nomination of her party through an electoral process.
Palin was chosen by a few desperate party hacks who wanted to play a wild card. They were behind and had nothing to lose. - Reply to this comment
- I think Canada would get a huge influx of new citizens if this JOKE ended up President of the US.

Which will be vintage though still entertaining in 2012.

Video exists of her boogying with a guy in a moose suit on national television (SNL).
Game over, Sarah. - Reply to this comment
- A number of factors seem to have contributed to the bumpy homecoming: a residual anger among Democrats for the attack-dog role Palin assumed in the McCain campaign, lingering resentment from Republicans for the part she may have played in McCain''s defeat, and a suspicion crossing party lines that the concerns of Alaska, at a time of economic crisis, will now be secondary to her future in national politics.

- The conservative Republicans and Christians stuffed their agendas down the throats of Americans the last eight years. Prior to that, George H.W. Bush and Ronald Reagan pandered to the religious right.
All along that sad vindictive trail, for the last 20 years or so, Rush Limbaugh has been proffering his whacko ideologies. Thoughts and words that only appeal to reasoning impaired, uneducated folks.
"Gee, if it sounds good, it must be true," and, "it must be a real good idea if RUSH mentions it."
In the 2008 election, the American public decided that Enough is Enough; and by a wide margin rejected the agendas of right wing, conservative, Bible thumper, whackos, including the ideologies of Rush Limbaugh, John McCain and Sarah Palin.
Conservative Christians need to form their own political party.
The Republican Party needs to refocus on a balanced budget and wise spending, and being a party of the people, by the people and for the people, not just the rich.

100% with you. Still have my "Goldwater in ''64" button just to remind me of the days when the GOP was not a shill for wackos like Rush and the "Christian Right". - Reply to this comment
- I don''t agree much with SP on any of the issues but I support her because she is a conservative woman who does''nt fit the mold that left wingers have for feminists.
And for that she pays a very heavy price on a very personal level. What is shocking is that these lefties claim to be sensitive, compassionate and understanging but are behaving like the worst, Jim Crow, trailer park trash I have ever seen. Imagine a black candidate getting the same treatment? - Reply to this comment
- What I''d like to know is why there''s been no follow-up to the revelation during the election that she used state money to fly her daughters with her to government business meetings and put them up at luxury hotels. Here''s the url: http://www.boston.com/news/politics/2008/articles/2008/10/22/alaska_paid_for_palin_daughters_to_travel/
