Washington Post: In Aftermath Of Bill's Passage, Parties Position Themselves To Claim Credit, Cast Blame
- "And Republicans have made it clear that they intend to try to shift the economic debate toward concern about the federal deficit."
Ha Ha Ha Ha!!! Well, that''s just repugnant.... No republican can anything about the deficit except maybe "we did it". What a joke. - Reply to this comment

- Now, now, Rudy. You seem to be trying to cover up facts by calling them "lies". A common liberal/socialist propaganda trick, but it doesn''''t change the fact that Barney Franks obstructed any changes to Fannie & Freddie on their path to destruction.

Just your lies that cover over the facts that Bush promoted predatory lending practices. Enough said. Go blame Hannity. - Reply to this comment
- parrots2 - you seem a little irritated at good people - what would be your problem.
You want to talk about which Trillions - ok, I''''m a conservative.
Your President has decided to spend at a rate in the first 3 weeks of his Presidency that would eclipse the total of George Bush''''s eight years, in a single year.
On top of that fact, Ms Pelosi thinks it is fitting and proper to block the minority party from the ability to offer amendments or be a part to creating bills. And, she''''s already thinking up new ways to spend even more money.
Then your President says the time for talking is over and it is time to pass the bill.
So, tell me, since you have thrown down the gantlet and I have responded, is THAT reaching across the aisle ? Or, is Nancy acting the way you would like your party to be treated after 2010 ?
So, you will note that I was neither condecending nor in the habit of calling folks names, both of which yo feel are necessary. Do everyone a favor ok - spare us both, and debate like you care what happens to the country instead of just claiming you do.

What exactly did Pelosi do again ?? Irritated at which Good People ?? Especially when i''d just pointed out the Trillions that were Pis$ed off (IMO) ? You still refused to address my post and just went on a Rant - Lets be focused here, I raised some points and had some questions - care to answer them ?? - Reply to this comment

Investing in Americans will put people to work. People working and earning a living can then better pay their taxes. Works everytime. But Limpballs doesn''t teach that at his so-called "Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies of how to Rip-off Americans." - Reply to this comment
- Bill Clinton with his ACORN bullying tactics, threaten banks to give loans to poor people was the beginnning of this mess. The Republicans tried to put more regulations on Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac 11 times, however the Democrats voted it down everytime. Democrats like Barney Frank were in Bed with Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac....Litteraly.

Lies, lies, and more damm lies. The truth is the banks practiced predatory lending practices meant to cause people to go into foreclosure, and Bush made sure no one could stop them. Quit listening to fatso Limpballs. - Reply to this comment
- Took bush 8 years to spend 4.5 trillion obama will
have spendent 3 trillion in 26 days.

Big difference: Bush spent it all on Iraq and Halliburton (who somehow lost 300 billion dollars they just can''t seem to find, gee!!).
Obama is investing in Americans.
One spent (Bush) and the other invests (Obama). I would call that a change. - Reply to this comment
- Watch how quickly every Republican in Congress lines up to get a share of the bailout money - it''s the worst thing in the world they say, but they will take it back to their constituents with a song and dance about the good they are doing with it.
Since they feel the expeditures are inappropriate then they should refuse their share of the dollars to lower the cost of the bill, and use their TREMENDOUS ideas to deal with these problems among their voters. - Reply to this comment
