If you understand that this is descriptive of some people then you understand that that type of person is required to believe they know all. Which has an obvious consequence proving they are absolutely and irrefutably incorrect. Because; no one knows all.

Sounds like Obama, since he never admits he is wrong. Praise him

I find the arrogance and relation to my 12.01 post to be the most offensive aspect of our current administration and many of it''''s appointees. The jury is still out, in my mind whether the problem is ignorance or greed.

I am not a big fan of the lefties unconstrained world view. I do hope Obama can solve global warming though redistribution, it was in the single digits today in MN.

The most dangerous people in the world are those with no comprehension of what the do not know. One of the attributes of such a person is that they believe they can both control and be responsible for all aspects of their lives. We all attempt to be responsible but the only truly wise people understand reasonably the limits of their control.

Since I already know you do not agree with the premise I thought it could explain something to someone that may choose to be more open minded

I already tried that...

We both are on different boats dealing with entirely different subjects on this one -- for many of us the elections were over several weeks ago.

Rowdydfw;

Wait, did you not just tell me the other night I had no comprehensive skills? Now your calling misha128 a commie for saying the same thing.

I just think it is funny that you say it and your not a commie, someone else says it and they are a commie

Posted by DJ_IL at 11:46 PM : Nov 21, 2008

Actually I believe she means intellectuals are commies -- Please this is no time to discuss the corollary. And yes in the absolute and unconditional terms stated I accept neither as valid.

No, I never heard him say that but if you would direct me to it I will be willing to listen.

But if you think I am going to look for it because you said he said it, sorry I am not wasting my time with your word.

Just praise him when you wake up and go to bed. You''ll be ok

I have never believed that, nor have I heard him say that he was. I only hear the republicans say it, which I find very interesting.

I could see if he said I was the messiah but he never did, but the way you put it you want to think he is.. Why that is I guess is because you have nothing better to do than post childish remarks

Well his wife said he had soul fixin powers, so I just assumed he was the chosen one. My bad, praise him

We
ll to be honest I do not know that. But I think it did because of his tax cuts. But I could be wrong

Posted by DJ_IL at 11:33 PM : Nov 21, 2008

The President is not the only politician who distorts the figures regarding the tax cuts, of course. As we''ve pointed out before, Howard Dean persisted in a false claim that "sixty percent of us got only $304," when in fact most taxpayers got more.

And some of the points in the President''s election-year sales pitch are perfectly valid. For example:

Bush: Nearly 5 million taxpayers will be off the rolls as a result of the tax relief this year.

That''s true for federal income taxes -- close to 5 million who previously owed some federal income tax will owe none under the Bush cuts, including many middle-income families with children.

Which is why we need government control to keep us in check right? Through central planning by the State, our souls can be fixed. Praise him

Posted by titletrack at 11:16 PM : Nov 21, 2008

In that regard the government should also undergo efforts to assure businesses do not manage to become too large to fail -- anti-trust laws should be actively used to assure or assist in the maintenance of an adequate number of competing entities. once the number of competing entities is too low the government should be required to enter into stricter regulation of sources with inadequate competition to maintain a fair and equitable distribution of services and pricing.

I was making a point. Not that I expect you to understand that. She is claiming about those on welfare get free money and I simply pointed out Bush did nothing either, which is exactly what she is claiming obama will do,

Posted by DJ_IL at 11:30 PM : Nov 21, 2008

Didn''t the percentage of people not paying taxes go up under Bush?

If you make $250K in "profit" after deductions, etc., you should count yourself lucky and stop whining!!

Posted by whatithink10 at 11:27 PM : Nov 21, 2008

For someone not concerned with money, you sure like to complain about it a lot. Why don''t you preach your philosophy to your people on how money isn''t everything and stop the class warfare already.
