the only boom lobbyists and congressmen who deal with then is to be boomed off the floor Via a rope. This is nothing more than bribery and influence peddling,it should be outlawed and made punishable to both parties involved , losing all personal assets they have...ALL.this plus mandatory first offense long jail terms, would be deterrents to this shameful practice. If a citizen does the same thing it is called bribery and we are punished,so why is it ok for congress to call it lobbying and it''s all right for them to do?Th elected officials in Washington act as if they are above the law, when in fact they are not. It''s time to start making examples when they break the law the must face the same punishments we citizens face if we were in the same position. We face many problems today because Bush ,congress,And lobbyists have thought they were above the law and better than average citizens.

Why would anyone want to be a member of congress when it is easy to own several members of congress?

Didn''t Obama want to ban lobbyists? Talking about Audacity of Hype. And now Obama bundlers who funded his election campaign are hired to his transition team. I guess you can buy your vote.
