Furthermore, I am not necessarily a republican. I vote that way primarily because there are no viable independant candidates yet. I am pretty much close to center. I even agree with some of your liberal ideas, but my core ideaology is different than yours. So sue me. I thought that was what made this country great. - Reply to this comment

So journalists who have some integrity and interest in the truth are faux news and fortune tellers. Well better them than the panderes to corporate interests that you must call journalists. - Reply to this comment
- Who is Webster Tarpley to claim that Obama is going to start several wars in Africa?
What is the source of his "inside information"?

I didn''t say he would "start" any wars in Africa. I said he would involve us in wars. There are plenty already started.
Where does the inside info come from for the stuff that you post. My research comes from many sources both within and from outside the US (not mainstream media) for some kind of balanced viewpoint. - Reply to this comment
- Must have been some intense meeting between P-E-Ob and President Bush. Bet Ob. is rethinking a lot of things. RE-thinking presumes that there was a thought to begin with.

Now thats just not all true. He did have a few buildings in Chicago, with his leadership, have the asbestus removed. Now that is change we can count on.With this leadership with Pelosi and Reid who knows how far we can go. - Reply to this comment

Didn''''t make it up. Comes from a historian named Webster Tarpley who is an expert on the dealings of the tri-lateral commission.

Seems that maybe kevnkar is onto something. Kinda goes hand in hand with: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s110-2433 - Reply to this comment
- Unbelievable. Well not so unbelievable.
Barry, you "leaf in the wind" you. At least Georgie has been firm and unwavering regardless of his choices not being the best ones.
I wait to see how your waver mentality will lead us, or will it, maybe it could, or not or I don''t know just say what you need to say to keep the people happy.
This is poor leadership. Pick a direction my friend and go. Stop floundering and pandering. - Reply to this comment

- CONDUMB,
Yes we also thank all the yankees for moving into are redneck states. After they ran all of their industry in the ground and had no where to go they had to come down here and tell us how dumb we are and ran ours under to.Wonder where they will go to next and do the same favor for them? - Reply to this comment
- Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates and Mullen, frustrated by the performance of NATO allies whose troops make up more than half the total foreign force in Afghanistan......
---
This really takes SOME sheek, eh?
Bush starts the war in Afghanistan, abandones it half-done, cons NATO into taking on some of the load, and then Gates gets condescending on NATO!
What cheek, indeed. - Reply to this comment
- It takes TWO to sign a contract. One from the union, and one from the company. You can''''t fault one side, without faulting the other.
Posted by IwasHungry68
If you ran a union shop and the workers walked out, you would have to sign some sort of contract or simply go out of buisiness. The unions have these companies over a barrel. - Reply to this comment
- Kevnkar,
Considering President Elect Obama''s ties to Prime Minister Odinga on Kenya, that borders Somalia, (Black Hawk Down), Sudan in the N.W. of Kenya, closeness of Rwanda, (massacre of 500,000 a Clinton mistake in 1993), and Zimbabwe I think you have something there! - Reply to this comment

I need to pray you are wrong!

I pray I''m wrong as well. Time will tell but this is the agenda of the tri-lateral commision who pull the strings of Obama just as they did Carter. - Reply to this comment

- We''''''''re in two wars now. The difference is the one we should have kept our resources in is going badly because we got distracted with Iraq
Posted by erich_1
It will be more than 2 wars. Obama will involve us in conflicts in Africa under the guise of humanitarian efforts. The true cause of course will be to cut off the supply of raw materials to China. - Reply to this comment
- John McCain drives? I would think that he is driven to where he needs/wants to go.
