Washington Post: Campaign Expected To Use Internet For Unprecedented Communications Outreach, Circumventing Mainstream Media
- Mr. Obama better be capable of more than just maintaining Internet list of his supporters!!!!
We want REAL and TANGIBLE RESULTS, FIXING the economy now! No excuses, no promises of "change", no cop outs about having been dealt a difficult hand, no handouts to incompetent US car makers or any other losers, just FIX the economy and do it NOW, or we will get EXTREMELY ANGRY and IMPATIENT with you Mr. Obama. You are not in the saddle yet, so you have a few weeks to work on it, then we want to hear no BS!
Same goes for your Democrat colleagues in Congress. - Reply to this comment
- I own 4 cars/trucks and 3 MC''s. The only foreign one is my ''68 Triumph Bonneville. I also do my own auto repair. In the distant past I owned several foreign cars. Subaru, required engine rebuild, Subaru, bad tranny, Honda, bad tranny. Those of you who try to compare a Mercury SUV with a Lexus are akin to those who would compare a Volkswagen to a Cadillac. I have never owned a foreign car that lasted longer (in miles) than an American one. Especially those of you who can''t repair anything. I have given my sons a ''88 Jeep 175,000 mi. and an ''89 Jeep 235,000 mi. Yes they''ve had rebuild done but they''re still on the road. I'' have NEVER had a foreign car last more that 90,000 mi.

- Bill Clinton started this Globalization with NAFTA in 1995 (with the encouragement from Rahm Emanuel)and the "most-favored" nation status for China and India in 1998!!!

- [scb1111_1; Please I just want to see one piece of evidence, from the WSJ or someplace respectfull that supports this. Not a blog or some stupid video but a piece of solid evidence. Just one?]

- [Bill Clinton started all this GLOBALIZATION with signing NAFTA (with the help from Rahm Emanuel) in 1995!!! Before that, Chinese products into America was around 10%, after Clinton signed "most-favored" nations status for China in 1998, after that Chinese products make up 90% of all items sold in America!!!]

looks like more misinformation from the ''scb''. clinton may have signed it ... but it was initially proposed and promoted by bush sr.
the numbers quoted for percents of imports from china is also incorrect. 90% of all goods sold in the us are not from china ... at least not in dollar value ... much less than this. - Reply to this comment
- Barack Obama is seen as the "most" ANTI-BUSINESS candidate for President in American History by most small-businesses in the USA!!! BAD for Unions and the US Workers!!! No businesses, No jobs!!!
Posted by scb1111_1 at 03:36 PM : Nov 10, 2008
If antibusiness means that he''s going to stop loading the trough for the big fat defense contractors, then good for him and long overdue. You don''t honestly think that Raytheon, SAIC, KBR, etc. corporate profits are raining down into your bank account do you? Because if you do, I have a really cool Alaskan bridge to sell you... - Reply to this comment
- And hopefully stop all this foreign dependence on oil soon!!!
