- Citizen: whatever. You''re a minimum wage idiot. I don''t have to try and convince any of you what I am. I just want to put my 2 cents worth into this discussion, I could care less what you believe or if you die from heart attack tomorrow. I think you all have blinders on when it comes to Obsama bin laden. The Bush years have been good to me, sorry if you don''t have the brains to succeed but I have and all this B.S. about treating the constitutin like toilet paper. Look at ww2, to keep america safe and secure during that war we infringed on peoples rights more so than now and the country survived ok.

And drilling here will save us trillions of dollars that are going to the Saudis who hate us. How about that? That''''s sounds a little more presidential.

The Saudi''s are friends of the Bush''s. George Jr. has had representitives from Saudi Arabia at the White House on several occasions. How can the Saudi''s hate us when the Bush''s are inviting them to the White House for BBQ''s?- Reply to this comment
- Well, citizen, first of all I don''''t believe you''''re a CPA, you''''re just saying that to try and make your point. And It will affect me because I do make over 250,000. It''''s my money, I made it, with no help from the government, None of it belongs to them.

First of all, I never claimed to be a CPA. Secondly, you didn''t read the plan did ya? I didn''t think so. and Thirdly, if you make 250K (which I strongly doubt), and don''t pay taxes (which you seem strongly against), you are breaking the law..no matter whose the President. As a matter of fact, I''ll wager that you aren''t even a business owner...you just want people to believe your views. - Reply to this comment
- The WSJ article says below that taxing the over 250k crowd will not pay for Obama''s programs.http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122463231048556587-email.htmlIn 2006, the latest year for which we have Census data, 220 million Americans were eligible to vote and 89 million -- 40% -- paid no income taxes. According to the Tax Policy Center (a joint venture of the Brookings Institution and the Urban Institute), this will jump to 49% when Mr. Obama''s cash credits remove 18 million more voters from the tax rolls. What''s more, there are an additional 24 million taxpayers (11% of the electorate) who will pay a minimal amount of income taxes -- less than 5% of their income and less than $1,000 annually. In all, three out of every five voters will pay little or nothing in income taxes under Mr. Obama''s plans and gain when taxes rise on the 40% that already pays 95% of income tax revenues. The plunder that the Democrats plan to extract from the "very rich" -- the 5% that earn more than $250,000 and who already pay 60% of the federal income tax bill -- will never stretch to cover the expansive programs Mr. Obama promises. What next? A core group of Obama enthusiasts -- those educated professionals who applaud the "fairness" of their candidate''s tax plans -- will soon see their $100,000-$150,000 incomes targeted. As entitlements expand and a self-interested majority votes, the higher tax brackets will kick in at lower levels down the ladder, all the way to households with a $75,000 income.

- The whole 250k number is bogus- biden says 200k -Richardson said 150 and in April in a Business Week interview said only people making less than 75k will see tax relief.MoveOn, Daily Kos and George Soros are not bank rolling him because he is a moderate, he is as far left as you can go.http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/08_15/b4079017876246_page_2.htm

- Get this...I live in Phoenix Arizona and just got a phone call stating that John McSame is having a 2am rally here. He hasn''t campaigned in Arizona (his home state) the entire election and now he wants to have a rally. This moron deserves to lose Arizona and the presidency! Thanks for helping me to finally decide who I''m going to vote for McSame...

- Don;t know how big coal is in Ohio but Obama said that he will bankrupt coal fired generating plants which will hike electric costs and cause the coal industry to take a dive. The SF Chronicle tried to bury the quote but the audio says it all. http://media.newsbusters.org/stories

Hidden Audio: Obama Tells SF Chronicle He Will Bankrupt Coal Industry
November 2, 2008 - 07:26 ET
Well, Barack Obama actually flat out told the San Francisco Chronicle (SF Gate) that he was willing to see the coal industry go bankrupt in a January 17, 2008 interview. The result? Nothing.
"So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it''s just that it will bankrupt them because they''re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that''s being emitted.
That will also generate billions of dollars that we can invest in solar, wind, biodiesel and other alternative energy approaches.
The only thing I''ve said with respect to coal, I haven''t been some coal booster. What I have said is that for us to take coal off the table as a (sic) ideological matter as opposed to saying if technology allows us to use coal in a clean way, we should pursue it.
So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can.
It''s just that it will bankrupt them." - Reply to this comment
- Omg. I have been saying this for weeks and I got kicked off this board. The night of the charity dinner, he looked totally wasted when he was talking. Looks like Obama has been dipping again.

And if you have college bound kids - they will have a better chance of getting the necessary loans to go to college under Obama!!!

You guys ALWAYS say "I will lay off...".
ALWAYS you take your cut out of somebody else''''s lives.
Can''''t be raising prices or taking a pay cut yourself, now, can you?

steve, that''s the "Republican" way. If you disagree with them, they will "punish" and "lay off"...it''s all about GREED. Look at their hero currently in the White House. That about sums it up. - Reply to this comment

- Read about his plan in depth, then you''''ll see the real facts. I know the facts and so do all the other business owners voting for McCain. Your statement has no basis in fact.

Really? You read "the plan"? Tell me where I can find it so I can read it too! - Reply to this comment
