Let''s all turn on Joe the plumber;let''s see,any American who dares to ask a question of Obama is then pounced on by the media and every Obama supporter. His information was illegally accessed by a democrat, and "smeared".Let''s hear more about Obama/Odinga,Wright,Ayers,Khlaidi and Farrahkan instead of picking on a man trying to make a living.
Anyone hear that Joe Biden told a TV station in PA today that the wealthy are now anyone who makes over $150,000.Just two weeks ago it was $250,000;anyone see a trend here?

It is totally disgraceful for Republicans to make up all these bald faced lies about Senator Obama. They can''t even keep the stories straight amongst themselve. Ted Stevens however has been found guilty on seven felony counts, that is a unanimous verdict which required somebody to say he was guilty 84 times. "W" will probably pardon Stevens like
Ford pardoned Nixon, because that is what Republicans do. Will somebody out there in sin city have the guts to ask "W" on camera if he is going to pardon Ted?

McCain conveniently left out of his health care proposal his plans for seniors on Medicare - namely the plan McCain economic adviser Doug Holtz-Eakin outlined in a Wall Street Journal article of October 6th - just a few short weeks ago:

McCain/Palin plan to pay for their health plan tax credits through $1.3 trillion in Medicare and Medicaid cuts over 10 years.

That would mean reductions in benefits for Medicare and Medicaid of nearly 30% a year for 10 years. With this plan, retirees living on fixed (or declining) incomes can literally say goodbye to their healthcare benefits.

And, as the figures above show, the 2-year, $52.5 billion sop on capital gains taxes represents just 4 percent (4%!) of the $1.3 Trillion McCain will take out of the pockets and wallets of all retirees over the next 10 years with his Medicare-destruction plan (*read the full article at: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122315505846605217.html).

John McCain, any pollster or speech writer who told you this new tactic will work, where all the rest has been tried and has failed, is deceiving you. This won%u2019t work either.

We know you, and we know Sarah Palin, by your words and your deeds these past months. We don%u2019t want you two running our country - in fact, our country can%u2019t take four more years of your failed and broken policies, your inflammatory rhetoric, and your selling the American people for dummies.

John, this time, the jig is up!!!

Stevens was found guilty in court of ethics violations, which are of course federal felony charges.

Palin was found guilty of ethics violations in the Troopergate affair by her own State legislative investigation.

Palin thinks Stevens should "do the right thing" for Alaska - Sarah - may I presume that you mean by that "he should resign his office", but you are so "heroic and courageous" that you won''t say it?!?

But Sarah - how about you - will you resign your office as Gov. based on your proven ethics violations!

Is what''s good for the gander, also good for the goose?

Or not so much?

If Dole supporters aren''t elitist, then what is elitism? No rational human being is going to vote for somebody because they are somebody''s wife. People want action now, not BS.

Say "spread the wealth"? Sarah Palin, now worth $1.2 Million, created a new Republican %u201Cno-tax but spend & spread the wealth%u201D model:
no taxes in Alaska (no sales tax, no income tax),hundreds of millions in "socialist welfare" (including thousand dollar checks to all),
including the %u201CBridge to Nowhere%u201D (flip-flopping for it before she was against it!),
even hiring a D.C. lobbying firm to get millions while small-town mayor of Wasilla (pop. 7,000!),
paying for this %u201Cspreadin of the wealth" by boondoggling taxpayers from the %u201Cother 49%u201D for hundreds of millions (%u201CI spend, you pay!%u201D)
and slyly covering her trail by babbling on about %u201Cgovernment get out of my way%u201D in the debate with Biden!

Sarah got creative with her wardrobe, too, spendin lavishly on herself:
$4,716.49 on hair and makeup just through September,
$22,800.00 on makeup Oct. 1-15,
$5,102.71 at Bloomingdale%u2019s New York,
$9,447.71 at Macy%u2019s in Minn.,
$49,425.74 at Saks Fifth Avenue in St. Louis and NY
$75,062.63 in a whopping%u2019spendin spree at Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis (doggone it, she%u2019s goin upscale on us real fast!).

Then there%u2019s $21,012. for her three daughters%u2019 64 one-way and 12 round-trip commercial flights (paid by the state of Alaska, admirably provin Palin%u2019s credentials as an equal-opportunity biller)!

Republicans used to belittle former Sen. John Edwards%u2019 $400 haircut, but compared to Palin, that%u2019s chump change!

Americans are always willing to listen and learn - it''s one of our greatest strengths!

These past months, we have seen McCain demonstrate, both in the debates, and in the way he has conducted himself and his campaign, that he:

is too slow on his feet, too petty, too erratic, and too cranky to be entrusted with running the USA,

too hung up on old, last-century concepts, military issues, and especially on the war in Iraq,

completely clueless about the lives and plights of his own countrymen and -women,

and completely oblivious to the fact that even his beloved military power is not sustainable if the US as a society continues fragmenting, and falls behind our competitors around the world.

(My goodness, the poor man has even demonstrated trouble counting his houses, condos, and automobiles!)

%u201CJoe the Plumber%u201D unfortunately needed a couple of days to be fully vetted:

Turns out Samuel J. Wurzelbacher (alias McCain%u2019s %u201CJoe the Plumber%u201D) doesn%u2019t have a plumber%u2019s license. Nor did his boss know he was selling his own business to Sam (%u201CJoe%u201D)!

That business is apparently worth less than $100,000, nowhere close to the $250,000.00 %u201CJoe%u201D claimed it was worth in his conversation with Obama (in other words, he %u201Cmisspoke%u201D to us on camera).

Truth is, Samuel (%u201CJoe%u201D) makes about $40,000 a year, has a state tax lien from Ohio for nearly $1,200.00, a second lien for $1,261.00. Not being able to keep up with his own bills, he%u2019s buying a business, right?

The latest is, it turns out that good ol%u2019 Samuel (%u201DJoe%u201D) is a prominent figure on the local right-wing radio station, and a financial donor to the McCain campaign. He%u2019s also shown up on youtube rants attacking Social Security.

As %u201CJoe the Plumber%u201D shows, the media fantasy of Republican operatives is truly amazing!

These McCain operatives obviously believed they could sneak this by the American people, even in this day and age with the internet and 24/7 news cycles.

And McCain uses him as the centerpiece of his campaign!

Who would have thought?

But then who would have thought he''d shoot himself in the foot with "Palin the Rogue"?

The two recently apprehended skinheads planned to take the hatred and vindictiveness of the McCain/Palin campaign to its final, logical step.

That would be the one step further that Ashley Todd, the white woman campaign operative who made up the story of being mugged and brutalized by a black Obama supporter just three news cycles ago, had also been willing to provoke. (Remember Ashley? PITTSBURGH, Oct. 24 - McCain Worker Made Up Attack Story - To Be Charged With Making False Report).

Rogue actors, sure!

But they have been shown the way, and incited to their actions, by the rhetoric of Sarah Palin and John McCain, - who%u2019s gutter campaign tactics have been bringing just this element to the surface at their rallies these past weeks.

And that is the point.

This McCain-style campaign from the gutter must not be rewarded with victory at the polls, but rather, must be soundly defeated on Nov 4th, election day, just 7 days from today!

Polls show that half the Alaskan Republicans who know that Ted Stevens is a convicted felon are still going to vote for him. People who vote for convicted felons are aiding criminal behavior. Bush will most likely pardon yet another felon in Ted Stevens. Who says this is a nation of laws?

In just 7 days, the politics of ploys, stunts, slime, sleazy robocalls, zingers, racial hatred, inciting to violence, and culture wars will be on the ballot!

On Nov. 4th, the politics of Bush/Cheney, McCain/Palin, Karl Rove/Steve Schmidt, & Rupert Murdoch%u2019s Fox News (Republican Central), will be defeated.

Americans, remember! We need a huge turnout & a landslide victory, because as we can today see, the Republicans are again trying to steal this election at the polling stations, just like in 2000 & 2004!

People, vote with strength and courage, elect Obama/Biden in overwhelming numbers, and return honesty, decency, and integrity to American politics!

Starting Nov. 5th, we%u2019ll begin the hard work of repairing the immense damage these Republican Party thieves and scoundrels have done to our economy, our country, & our people.

In the last two Bush elections, Big Oil, Big Pharma, and Big Tobacco bankrolled Bush to the hilt. Look at the list in the above article detailing who''s supporting the Republican candidates - anti-labor and anti-union groups, Chamber of Commerce, right-wing fanatics, etc. Yes, they''re all still on board for the Repubs. And again, you hear no complaints from Republicans, as a small oligarchy of corporations try to buy the US Presidency and the US Senate away from 300 million Americans!

They succeeded in 2000 and again in 2004 because we didn''t do enough to support Gore''s & Kerry''s campaigns & help them defeat the Republican sleaze machine.

They lost, and we, the people, lost big time - Republican-made disasters just keep on breaking down on us every day!

So what''s different this year?

Well, we''ve learned from that experience - today, more than 3 million citizens have donated to Obama and to Democratic Party candidates, and tens of thousands are working day & night for Obama.

By the sheer cumulative power of this huge public response, we will enable Obama/Biden to win this campaign, and to beat the sleaze machine of McCain/Palin/Rove & Fox News.

Born Alive Infants Protection Act: Congress heard testimony about babies that had survived attempted late-term abortions. Nurses testified that these preterm living, breathing babies were being thrown into medical waste bins to die or being "terminated" outside the womb. With the baby now completely separated from the mother, it was impossible to argue that the health or life of the mother was in jeopardy by giving her baby appropriate medical treatment.
Let''''''''s be clear about what Obama did, once in 2003 and twice before that. He effectively voted for infanticide. He voted to allow doctors to deny medically appropriate treatment or, worse yet, actively kill a completely delivered living baby.Obama%u2019s a baby-killer too!? No Thanks!!

By the way...

Remember Republicans posting about "Berg vs. Obama, Civil Action No. 08-cv-4083", seeking a Declaratory Judgment and an Injunction that Obama does not meet the qualifications to be President of the United States?

Let me pass on to the readers of this blog the following info:

This lawsuit has been thrown out of court (i.e., dismissed) as "frivolous and not worthy of discussion", as of Oct. 25th.

If there are more of these bogus law suits in other courts, this decision will become the precedent for tossing them out, too.

Too bad for McCain, but as the old saying goes, when something appears too good to be true, it''s not - same with McCain''s chances this would ever save him from his well-deserved election thrashing in just 7 days.
