Washington Post: GOP Candidate Defends Her Qualifications, Says Criticism Comes From "Elitist Attitude"
- Liberals just cant stand the fact that Palin as well as all the other women within the GOP are intellegent, self-achieving complete women with no need to whine about everything that happens to them. This women gets married, has 5 kids, joins the PTA, gets piss_ed off at government and decides to do something about it. She runs for mayor (a small town, but that is not her fault) and even rises to run for Governor - for geez sakes. Then shakes things up and becomes the most popular Governor.
Frig it - tell me one other woman in history that has done that.
Your wonderful Hillary had to pick out a state where she thought she could win and actually move there. *** is that? She had never lived in New York - knew absolutely nothing about NY, had never held office, yet won in a landslide.
And why? The simple fact that she was a woman - that is all the Dems needed. That and only that. Show me one single qualification that Hillary Clinton had prior to winning in NY.
Idiots!

- mccain is full of it, horse manure. palin is a proven liar, a stonewaller, embezzler or a thief of alaskan public funds for herself and family, a candidate for vice-president and knows nothing about the duties as specified in the u.s. constitution, an unethical politician. now palin spends 150K of rnc monies, no doubt voter donations, on her personal makeover. she could have said, no. she is a closet corrupt politician. mccain puts the national security of the nation at risk by selecting palin as his running mate. mccain is a very old man with questionable physical health and certainly mental health. how could mccain not be suffering from ptsd as a result of 5 years as a pow in a cruel vietnamese prison camp? by selecting palin, and defending her, he is proving he lacks a degree of judgement and decision making skills. this is the time to support your ticket, so donate money until it hurts to the candidates of your choice.

I wish I could''ve said that half as eloquently. I completely agree, and what''s sad is that we all know the answers. Any of these things flipped the other way would make this a completely different race. In fact, if any of McCain''s baggage came instead with Obama, he wouldn''t be the nominee. It''s sad to me that, in 2008, race is still so pervasive that the black candidate has to jump through 100 times the hoops the white candidate does. We can make sure this doesn''t work though. Go vote. If you can vote early, vote today. Go make sure it counts. Your vote is your voice. Obama/Biden 08!! - Reply to this comment
- ''I think she''s most qualified of any that has run recently for vice president, tell you the truth...''
John McCain
Or, rather, to tell an outrageous and obvious lie because what else am I supposed to do? Admit she''s a moron? Admit it was a mistake? Admit she''s a boat anchor around my neck? - Reply to this comment
Picking Palin was a huge blunder...McSame knows it!
Not getting elected will be his prize :P- Reply to this comment
- "She''s like one of us, just a normal, hardworking person, not someone from D.C. " said Ivan Capps, a Bureau of Land Management records manager who attended a Palin rally in Grand Junction, Colo.
Ivan Capps proves to be a fine example of the quality Federal employee, Dizzy, uninformed, Lack of ability to perform the simplest task such as thinking and walking simultaneously.
RNC had to dress her and her family because she/they failed to meet V.P. Republican standards.
She has abused her power as governor in office. (Troopergate)
She has illegally charged the state of Alaska for her Children''s travel, lodging, and meals. They were no invited, Palin decided to take them.
And when ask what the responsibility of Vice President is. SHE HAD NO IDEA IN HELL WHAT IT IS.
Yea, No warm and fuzzy knowing McCain would put This idiot on the ticket... - Reply to this comment

- What if things were switched around? Would the country''s collective point of view be different?
What if the Obamas had paraded five children across the stage, including an unwed, pregnant teenage daughter?
What if McCain had married only once, and Obama was divorced?
What if Obama was the candidate who left his first wife after a disfiguring car accident.
What if Obama had met his second wife at a party and embarked on an affair while he was still married?
What if John McCain had been the president of the Harvard Law Review?
What if Barack Obama had finished fifth from the bottom of his graduating class?
What if Michelle Obama had not only became addicted to pain killers, but also acquired them illegally through her charitable organization?
What if Cindy McCain had graduated from Harvard?
What if Obama had been a member of the Keating Five? In case you don''t remember, the Keating Five were 5 Senators accused of corruption in 1989 as a part of the savings and loan crisis of the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was cleared of all charges, but reprimanded for using poor judgement.
What if McCain was a charismatic, eloquent speaker
What if Obama was the one who had military experience that included discipline problems and a record of crashing planes?
What if Obama was the one who publicly displayed an anger management problem?
What if Michelle Obama''s family had made their money from beer distribution?
