No that''s that HARVARD LAW DEGREE stance coming through! McCain''s one short arm-that''s the ignorance of graduating the bottom of his class coming through! I''d rather be a tall man than a short one like flip-I felt sorry for him last week when his legs didn''t even reach the floor! So much for a midget with one working arm!

Take a look at this a--hole! What about the Reps and ACORN now........punk!

John McCain supported ACORN in 2006. At one of their rallies he said "What''s in this room is what makes America great." Here is the story with video: http://marcambinder.theatlantic.com/archives/2008/10/a_lifetime_ago_sen_john.php

ote McCain/Palin for real honor and decency !

Posted by Minuteman-8 at 06:43 PM : Oct 14, 2008

Yes. We noticed both their "honor" and decency during the entire campaign. (NOT) Those 2 are the antithesis of honor and decency. At least you did not go all out with ludicrous statements and say vote for them because they are intelligent. You get 2 kool points for limiting your McCain/ Palin attributes to merely the absurd.

Did you say decency? The decent thing for lying Sarah to have done would have been to bow out of the race-now she has to go back to Alaska (where noone wants her) to face an Ethics Personnel Board, even though she''s too fu--ing dumb to know that she did do something wrong. Living life in a bottle? That bottle just may burst soon!

Do you suggest that our National interests only involve issues within our own borders ? not so, our national interests we fight for, go beyond our borders and throughout the world

Take care of home first--a huge tenet of the Bible. that is what is meant by don''t criticize your brother for the splinter in his eye, when you have a log in your own eye. We can solve world hunger, world markets, building and rebuilding infrastructures, health and economic issues--after we take care of our own first. To do any less is hypocritical and nonpatriotic.

Of course I guess the right-wing political people would have flipped-out if Lieberman was selected. Too bad people care more about party politics then the future of the country.

Posted by helloall34 at 06:34 PM : Oct 14, 2008

The truth is--I was scared that they would pick Lieberman--they would have split the Dem Jewish vote, got a lot of Independents and war hawks/Israel supporters, they would have been able to keep the Clinton defectors..I thought with Lieberman or if McCain had been able to tap Clinton herself--he would have won handily.

it was the racial and political bigotry of the GOP that was their down fall this time. Palin has alienated many Clinton voters--because she is not qualified. They wanted a qualified woman in office--not just any woman--Palin is the quintessential airhead bimbo who gives the boss head and somehow becomes the dEpt mgr lording it over the actual female brains in the company. Men really do not understand female dynamics. This is why the only females to like Palin are the Republican base--to every other woman--she is LOATHED. Liebarman probably would have been a win for the Republicans (Defecting Dems would have reasoned the liberalness of Lieberman would temper McCain)

** Why do you think so highly of Lieberman??? He had to run as an independent just to retain his senate position! How much did Lieberman help Gore in 2000??? Had Gore went with Kerry or Edwards as his running mate instead, he probably would have won in a landslide.....

Palin further alienated Alaska''''s black community by becoming the first Alaskan governor in recent memory to not recognize the Juneteenth celebration of the emancipation proclamation. "She doesn''''t hire any black people, she doesn''''t have any on her staff, so it''''s not a surprise that she doesn''''t support our Juneenth celebration," Alexander said.

These revelations and many more are contained in my latest video, which was produced with support from the Nation Institute Investigative Fund.

Palin may be a racist--but racist or not--nobody should be compelled to pander to or go to celebrations certain groups have set aside not for the nation--but for themselves. Juneteenth celebration is not a national holiday--Palin should not have to go or be censured for not going to something like that. As for the other things about racism--there appears on Youtube a video that supposedly Palin was overheard right after Obama clinched the Dem nom and she said "So, Sambo beat the *****" I don''t know if that is true or a nasty viral rumour--but if it is--it would give credence to racist rumours and show another side to Sarah Palin.

people have to remember that these polls are not always acurate:
A)what people say is not what people will always do when they actually vote.
B) these polls are conducted by phone, so only people with a phone can participate.
Posted by Palinchick15 at 06:09 PM : Oct 14, 2008
That is correct. It should also be remembered that the largest Demographic supporting Obama are between 18 to 30 and the majority of those people only have cell phones. I''''ve been contacted over 3 times already for national polls. YOu''''d think they would find other people to call given that we are a country of over 300 million people.
Posted by harbinger09 at 06:21 PM : Oct 14, 2008
hey Harbinger09, I''ve also noticed that most polls are only taken from about a thousand people, hardly enough people to show the thoughts of the entire state, let alone the whole country! I think they should atleast do polls of 5 to 10 thousand people if they want samples... I''ve never been called for a national poll, and yet my phone numbers been listed for over 10 years.

PALIN IS A BIGOT.

On April 29, 2008, 14 leaders of Alaska''''s black community met with Gov. Sarah Palin to voice discontent with her minority hiring record. Palin''''s response, which was first reported by journalist Earl Ofari Hutchinson, only compounded her icy relationship with her African-American constituents.
Gwen Alexander, the president of the African-American Historical Society of Alaska, told me that Palin stated defiantly that she had no intention to hire any minority staffers. And according to Bishop Dave Thomas, senior pastor of Anchorage-based African-American church Jesus Holy Temple, the Palin administration excluded black business owners from the Alaskan oil and gas pipeline board. "We wasn''''t even able or allowed to go into the meetings" to seek contracts for the pipeline, Thomas told me.

Everybody is going to have to bite the bullet. But instead of accepting the facts, a lot of you are fawning over some guy that has you convinced that he has a magic wand.
Good luck with that

That is not it--maybe for Dems--but not for the rest of us. We will vote for Obama to punish the REpublicans for Bush. It is really about as simple as that. WE blame the hell in Iraq, our lost standing and ugly economy on deficit spending, crazy policies 2 wars and deregulation--as for Freddie and Fannie--we think if the regs had been there--it would not have happened. as for the Dems--we blame them--but since the dereg for fannie and freddie was enacted in 1998, and the Reps had a majority from 2000-2006, we are not cutting them any slack for not tightening rules when they were passing torture and wiretapping and every other bill they wanted. So we hate the GOP and are going to punish all of them if we get punished too--so what? We already are in he11.

"What happened to the great country I left to fight for?"
Posted by TRMarine79 at 06:06 PM : Oct 14, 2008
Also - you were never actually fighting for this country. The USA has not been invaded.
You may have been fighting for Iraq, or maybe Afghanistan - or more likely Bush and Cheney - but not the USA.
Sorry to have to break that sad news to you, buddy.

**** I totally agree~! Amnesty Mccain and Bush Do NOT care about our troops. Why has amnesty mccain voted against funding for VA benefits more than any other Senator???? Unless you are still alive from the Revolution, Civil War, or World War 2... then you are not fighthing for the USA. Those are the only 3 wars in which we were attacked.. before we declared war! Besides.. Amnesty Mccain wants to give amnesty to over 20 million illegal immigrants... is that the america you were fighting for? To give amnesty to millions of people that broke the law to get into our country in the first place???

...And I know that the American public has had less than two months to vet Sarah Palin, and during this time the press has had to fight tooth and nail to secure just two network interviews with her... while she still refuses to appear on the tougher Sunday news shows.
On the stump, Sarah Palin and John McCain continue to avoid addressing the critical issues facing our country. Neither of them provides any substantive conversation on what they will do to steer our country on a journey back to prosperity. Palin''s sheer ignorance and lack of experience precludes her from speaking thoughtfully about the financial and foreign policy dilemmas we face. And John McCain''s voting record forces him to change the subject.
McCain knows his policies have contributed to the unraveling of our financial systems due to excessive deregulation. McCain knows that he supported the war in Iraq since its inception, which has been a tremendous financial and military drain on our country. Both Sarah Palin and John McCain know that if this election continues to be about the housing market, the economy, healthcare, the environment, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan -- the issues that affect everyday Americans -- they will lose this election. And after eight years of Republican control that has left this country in deep distress... they should lose. So now that we know who Sarah Palin is... do we want her a heartbeat away from the presidency?

Until the Republican Convention, very few had ever heard of Sarah Palin... and now this mean-spirited campaigner is asking who is Barack Obama?
I''m asking who is Sarah Palin?
I know that she''s a woman who doesn''t believe in allowing women the right to choose their own reproductive health decisions even if they are victims of rape... but approves of these victims getting billed by the government for the rape kits used to examine them.
I know she''s a beauty pageant runner-up who is a gun totin'' extremist in her views on the environment, religion, women''s choice and the separation of church and state.
I know that as mayor of the small town of Wasilla she increased spending by 63% and left behind a $19 million long-term debt, which was non-existent before she took office.
I know she hired the same good-ol''-boy network of Washington lobbyists she says she will fight if elected, in order to secure millions of dollars of earmarks for Wasilla.
I know that she''s been found guilty of abusing her power as governor by pressuring a state official to fire her former brother-in-law and then firing the official when he refused... an investigation that began prior to her selection as vice president.....
