Washington Post: McCain Favorability Ratings Fall As Obama Appears To Be Gaining Momentum
- kittykatty2 - Terrorists bombed buildings to make a political point, Bill Ayers bombed buildings to make a political point. The violent idealogy is the same and is dispicable. Also, I don''t know if you realize this but Ayers has publically stated he is "unrepentant". I think anyone who supports this man from both parties need to have their heads examined.

- mydogsparky...two people died as a result of one of the bombs the weathermen were assembling exploded. Bill Ayers did not kill anyone. To call him a terrorist is the republicans way of finger pointing and name calling in an effort to persuade you that they are "better" people. Funny though, there are plenty of Republicans that have worked with him in his quest for better education and reform. You don''t hear a Republican backlash against those of their own who have collaborated with Bill Ayers though do you? Also, Bill Ayers was never prosecuted. Why was that? Misconduct on the part of the republican prosecutor? And isn''t it a Christian virtue to forgive sinners who have repented? Republicans think they own Christianity yet I have yet to meet ONE who acts like one. So sparky...you really ain''t that sparky...you''re just another empty header with a big mouth.

- whatIthink10,
nothing matters to the dems anymore, association with criminals, association with Ayers, ACORN, stuffing the ballot box for Kennedy, it is all irrelevant to you. With Obama, Pelosi, Dingy Harry, and oh my favorite democrat the almighty Barney Frank, I hope you all can spell socialism. - Reply to this comment
- mydogsparky,
What is wrong with you people? Obama was not involved in any bombings. Your sense of anger is so misplaced. You should be angry about what Bush and McCain did to get us into Iraq. That''s the tragedy. - Reply to this comment
- to erb0087, "the Bill Ayers thing is a phony issue"
tell that to the people that died as a result of the bombings. - Reply to this comment
- The republicans are carrying McCain to the finish line.
His proposals always follow Obama proposals. The "Obama Express" rolls on. - Reply to this comment
- When Barack Obama knew Bill Ayers, Ayers was a professor at the University of Illinois. They knew about his background and they still hired him to teach their students.
Ayers'' background didn"t bother Illinois Governor Jim Edgar, or the famous philanthropist (and close personal friend of Ronald Reagan), the late Walter Annenberg, whose widow is a McCain supporter.
Edgar and Annenberg are/were both Republicans who supported the work Ayers'' was doing with Obama and others. Edgar even sent Ayers a letter encouraging him.
This Bill Ayers thing is a phony issue.
The American people know that.
Obama is going to win easily on November 4. - Reply to this comment
- You look at the comments, and you realize that the Republicans are going to be crying about the 500 or 1000 total duplicate registration cards found across the entire country FOREVER.
Even though a duplicate registration CARD does NOT in any way translate into more than one vote.
And even though 500 or 1000 duplicate registration cards in no way compares to stealing an entire STATE with "hanging chads".
Sighhhh......I can see it now - the Republican trolls will be crying so loud and so long about ACORN and whatever AFTER the election that CBS is going to have to include a "Dispense Tissue" button next to the "Publish" button. - Reply to this comment
- Seriously, the more I read what comes out of Republican minds, the more I realize how stupid Republican followers are. Also, it seems on almost all blogs that Republican supporters are very uneducated with regards to their comments. Most, sound very "redneck" and "ignorant."

Dude there is nothing 2 "cool" about you. Maybe too paranoid, definitely nothing cool here. As far as the Ayers thing goes, Hillary vetted it, the press vetted it, and now mccain has vetted it. Didn''t you get the memo, there is nothing here.
I have contemplated what would happen if the white house was over run by college professors and constitutional lawyers, and they associated with the likes of college professors such as Ayers. The nation would possibly get more intelligent. That would definitely be tough on you.
Its a much scarier prospect if organized crime takes over our government and the white house. ...Oh well too late for that. - Reply to this comment

He apparently doesn''''t just hang out with convicted felons and organized gangsters (mafia) he marries into their families. . .
John McCain is such a low life hypocrite, it''''s a wonder his head doesn''''t explode when he whines about Obama''''s (alleged) associations.

tuckerndfw thanks for your post. I decided to investigate what you said about the mob and the Arizona reporter. I grew up in Arizona, and I remember the Don Bolles murder well. He was a great reporter and left behind a wife and kids. It was something right out of the Godfather. He was lured to a an apartment complex with hopes of getting information for a story he was working on. The guy who lured him there planted a bomb under his car. The man who was suspected of ordering the hit was a close associate and partner in crime of John mccain''s father-in-law. These people are about as close to the mafia as you can get. The story spells out the connections in fine detail. mccain is not only linked to criminal charles keating, but his father-in-law is a real convicted criminal with ties to the mob. - Reply to this comment

Again, who did he murder. And yes, he was pardoned. Murder, btw, is not something that just goes away on a technicality. There isn''t even a statute of limitations for murder. - Reply to this comment
- Do you see what your doing.
Your defending a self confessed muderer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who did he murder? And he was pardoned for his crimes, so I guess somebody decided he was a changed man. Sorry you don''t believe that people can change.
And why do defend G. Gordon Liddy who enabled McVeigh in murdering many, many people, including little kids. - Reply to this comment
- On 911, when asked about it he said he should have done more.

That''s a lie, and you know it. Ayers has clearly denounced his own activity of that time. What has been distorted and clarified is that Ayers has repeatedly avowed that when he said he had "no regrets" and that "we didn''t do enough" he was speaking only in reference to his efforts to stop the United States from waging the Vietnam War, efforts which he has described as "inadequate as the war dragged on for a decade." Ayers has maintained that the two statements were not intended to imply a wish they had set more bombs.
********
Having personally dealt with reporters in the past, I know exactly how they can distort something a person has said. And the worst thing is you can''t hardly get a reporter to admit to distortion of something one has said, and I don''t care what the reporter is, whether democrat or republican.
That being said, we have no examples to support the idea that Ayers would like to continue with bombs and such. He has turned from doing bad to doing good and one would think that Christians with all their talk of people turning to doing good would respect that. Obviously Palin doesn''t. - Reply to this comment

Why do you condone terrorism? Why do you condone G. Gordon Liddy telling you militants how to kill federal agents? You should repent. - Reply to this comment

I wonder who this poster originally was. He has been on here every time I check in today. And that aint been very often. Any rate, posters like him are weird to the max. They just post over and over again the same cut and paste posts, like controlled zombies or cult followers or some such thing. Strange. Actually, I think they turn a lot of people off because they sound so stupid after a while. - Reply to this comment

It''s a shame that McCain didn''t get his good friend and terrorist supporter G. Gordon Liddy to repent for telling people like McVeigh how to kill federal agents. - Reply to this comment
