"I think narrowminded would fit even better and being a veteran qualifies your for veterans benefits nothing more and probably not even that" alanrobisch2

robisch2,

you sound awfully angry. What does your candidate McWar offer our country other than four more years of the same Bush/Cheney insanity?

For your information, unlike John, I did not use my veteran''s benefits. I paid for graduate school, became an airline pilot for an international carrier, and retired comfortably some years ago. I just don''t want my country to be involved in one war after another.

McCain is still receiving over $57,000 per year from the Veterans Administration for medical disability. His wife is worth millions, but poor John had to sign a prenuptial. He owns nothing. Not even one of Cindy''s houses or 13 of her cars.

Calling people you disagree with an idiot says a lot about yourself.

Why don''t you just be nice and crawl back under the sociopathic rock than you have been living under?

Not this time. Lies will not get McCain elected.

Hi,

I wanted to draw your attention to this important petition that I recently signed:

"Impeach Senator Barack Obama"
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/obamaimpeachment?e ...

I really think this is an important cause, and I''d like to encourage you to add your signature, too. It''s free and takes less than a minute of your time.

Thanks!

Sorry fella, McCain hasn''t been in DC for the past six months, he''s got no clue what''s going on there right now. All he can do is offer the other senators coffe and doughnuts.

Just call him, "Cut & Run McCain" -- this is a pathetic ploy even more transparent than naming Palin to his ticket. There will be no "bounce" from this desperate and cowardly tactic.

I just call ''em like I see ''em. :-)

The wheels are now officially off the straightjacket express. If McCain thought his latest poll numbers looked bad, he hasn''t seen anything yet. Since he and Sarah can''t figure it out for themselves, Americans have figured it out for them.

John McCain''''s tough choice: work on economy package or debate foreign policy. Or walk. Or chew gum

Are you describing yourself. Its pretty hard to be giving a speech and being alegislator but obama doesn''t know anything about that since he hasn''t been one for most of his time in the senate. He''s been running for office almost the entire time. Is that why he was elected senator

McCain has cut and run from his commitment to be the Republican nominee. He owes it to this country to debate Obama so that we can make an informed decision about whether he is fit to hold the highest office in the land, but he''s cut and run from his primary responsibility just 30 days before the election. We have 98 other Senators in D.C., more than enough cooks in that kitchen.

This is a sad and pathetic gimmick by a man who is ill-prepared to debate and ill-prepared to be president.

Americans are wiser and smarter than the McCain machinery have estimated! Obama has held a steady course and McCain-Palin''s crazy ad tactics have backfired on him. Palin''s ignorance and immaturity have been exposed. Thats why the Campaign has insisted on set media pieces with her.

" I am so sick of hearing how Sarah Palin is not for women''''s rights because she is not pro-abortion. melpayton

Dear Melpayton.

Neither Senators Obama or Biden are "pro abortion."

They believe that the government should not make a drastic medical decision in a woman''s health matter. Once the government gets involved, you become a dictatorship like Ceaucescu''s Romania in which back alley abortions, and over flowing orphanages created chaos in that small country.

They believe that abortions can be greatly reduced by adequate education, birth control availability, and assistance for single mothers.

Sarah Palin is not just "anti abortion," she is for reversing Roe versus Wade which up to now keeps the government out of controlling women''s bodies.

I personally hate abortion- but I am not willing to impose my beliefs on others who have a different opinion on when life begins. The government has no business in this matter.

It is a moral issue. If you outlaw the procedure, it will not stop it- it will just help to kill thousands of young women who submit to nom medical pratices- like they did before Roe versus Wade.

Sarah Palin wants to impose her religious beliefs on others who do not agree with her.
