This is pretty good, the sum of the right wing flip flopping. For them, saying it''s so they''re convinced, means the gullible will believe it.

wasteful spending is not arena and sport complexes, which are good for the community, wasteful is spending on garbage, that is wasted...do you agree, basically ?

Yeah, kind of like the Bridge to Nowhere, which Palin was for until the pressure was increased and she became against it.

Obama has only mentioned removing tax breaks and incentives for corporations who move jobs overseas. Please provide me any proof that Obama''''s plan arbitrarily raises taxes on all businesses. You can''''t because it''''s just another wingnut talking point.

3 things raised the price of oil to record highs:

1. The falling value of the U.S. dollar which is the currency in which oil is traded. The devaluation of the dollar is a direct result of record borrowing by the federal government under Bush.

2. The "Enron Loophole" which is a little peace of legislation that McBush''''''''s economic advisor introduced to deregulate speculation in the oil markets.

3. Bush''''''''s invasion of Iraq destabilized the region of the world where most oil comes from feeding fears of interruption in supply and fueling unbridled speculation in the markets.

The "real" value of oil based on demand is somewhere around $70 dollars a barrel.

You are the only one talking about socialism here.

I am sorry that you are a moron. But I will be more than happy to educate you should you require another reality check.

Agreed. I wish the "Liberal Minded" folks could see that.

But, they dont. They think that our stature throughout the world as being the beacon of freedom comes without cost.

It is not so. It cost money, time, and unfortunately, lives to achieve that goal.

Do you know that Palin wasted millions on a sports stadium for her little town of 6,000 and rushed through the project before questions could be asked? The sad thing is that she had it built on land that didn''t belong to Wasilla, so the rights to the stadium have been going through the court system for years now, and no one has used that sports stadium and so it just sits there. Isn''t that wasteful spending?

Headline...What''s Going on with the population in Wasilla?

The population of a small town in Alaska seems to be shrinking. When I first heard of Sarah Palin, she was formally the Mayor of a town of around 9000 or so. From this media source I hear 8000. From that media source I hear 7000.?

What''s going on is Wasilla? Why is the population shrinking so rapidly? And what does Governor Palin know about??

Of course all cancers can be deadly, as in the case of liberalme''''s brother, but a brain anneurism can kill you on the spot, there''''s this guy I know that had one, lucky he was rushed to the hospital, he now has have a skull and has to wear a helmet, and he wears military helmets sometimes, with swat type gear, last year he was arrested, they thought he was a terrorist or something, and the taser bounced off his armor clothing, big scene, I heard about it

From the book that I read, the criminal profiler had traveled across the country to hunt down a serial killer. Only like two other people knew where he was, and when he was in the hotel room by himself, he had a brain anneurism. He lay on the floor for hours waiting for help. He had put a do no disturb sign outside his door begore the attack, and he wasn''t found for several hours, and that was by chance. He was in the hospital for like a month.

She opposed protecting the Polar Bear, because its protection threatens the less-endangered oil and gas industry. What is it about evangelicals that are pro-life and anti-environment?

seriously, don''t you think Palin knows more about the Alaskan wilderness, wildlife, and polar bears than the people who are critcizing her? She sure knows more about polar bears than Al Gore.

The same people who are obsessed with "protecting" life before birth, don''t give a rat''s azz about it after birth - and fight any kind of welfare support for people who need it.

When you see them in action, speaking in "tongues" and generally acting like they''re mentally deranged, you realize how dangerous they are and why they cannot be trusted with "the bomb".

You say that you are against wasteful spending/deficit, etc. So how do you explain the fact that Palin left her little town of 6,000 people with a 27 million debt when they had zero before she was elected...and keep in mind that this is a town of 6,000. ANd how do you explain the fact that Mccain wants to spend 10 billion a month in Iraq, when we cannot even fix the roads we have here?

Lets say he smoked cigars from 20-45 while he was in the navy, he''''s 72 now, so that''''s over 27 years ago he smoked cigars...I don''''t see that as a major issue, did you know Obama smoked-out America for 20 years in Wright''''s church ?....just kidding

I''ve been away for about 30 minutes, so I dont know the jist of the conversation. But, did you know that Obama smokes? He''s trying to quit.

Heard that a few months ago. Havent heard anything else reported on it recently though.

whoever it is will try, but we won''''''''t let them, will we. Are you forgetting ted Kennedy''''''''s involvement in this for any reason?

Posted by jgg000 at 05:31 PM : Sep 08, 2008

Oh like you wouldn''''t bring up the subject of Kennedy was running for President but guess what he is not your boy Amnesty McCain is and he''''s no MAVERICK so stop trying to spin

Posted by nomcsame

no, the point is that they both worked on the Amnesty bill. If I wanted to spin it I''d be praising how McCain crossed party lines to co-produce legislation.

Palin is a total whack job. She''s caught on tape giving a speech to children telling them that the illegal war is a mission from God. Her church has nutty beliefs about the "end of days" - probably explains her "support" for Israel. Go to youtube and search for her and you''ll see it all there. Says a lot about Americans if they elect a whack job like this to the WH. She makes Bush-Cheney seem normal and reasonable.

The more I hear about the Alaskan governor, the less I like her. What a strange choice. They get the conservative base but erase any promise of having an environmental platform to run on. She opposed protecting the Polar Bear, because its protection threatens the less-endangered oil and gas industry. What is it about evangelicals that are pro-life and anti-environment?

Leave it to Gary Busey to find a loophole around the Endangered Species act.

Cool, I wish I smoked cigars, but I don''''t....You must also know that Skin Cancer is the most cureable of all cancer types and least dangerous, you do know that right ?

Do you bring up the same thing about Biden''''s Aneurisms which are much more dangerous.....also, wasn''''t di-ck cheney''''s heart problems much greater and he''''s been fine for over 8 years now

Posted by Minuteman-5 at 05:30
