Having Sarah Palin as VP would be like having Elly May Clampett in office. All we hear about her is her lack of education, her nutty church, her redneck family, and her desire to ban various books. Her minders need to allow her be interviewed - a REAL interview, not with scripted questions and rehearsed answers. Americans need to know if these are just vile rumors or are in fact true. With the McCain camp keeping her in hiding it only makes people think that the uproar regarding her is true.

We all know McCain is a Muslim. I saw him sneak into my mosque last Friday to perform his prayers. After his prayers were over, he sneaked out, carrying his Qur''an hidden beneath his robes. Please do not tell anyone because his political enemies will try to use it against him.

Everybody also needs to be careful about checking sources. When people don''t check their sources they still believe Obama is a Muslim. Palin seems to be emerging as a nut, but I''m just saying check your sources. Lastly, just think of the power John Hagee would have with Palin as veep. We do not want Hagee driving our foreign policy.

Obamas Dream?

One day I was walking in Kenya reading the Koran when suddenly one of my members of my cell ask me where I was born? I gladly told him? He then whispered something in my ear that I cannot share because it was the most deceptive plan ever concocted? I said yes right away? He said good he will inform Rev Wright of my decision on this mater?
Then I dreamed of America?

I have a Dream?

Sorry to plagiarize these 4 words.

Palin''s interview by Charles Gibson is going to be nothing more than a love-fest. Don''t expect an interview even approaching anything that is going to be revealing - any hard-hitting questions. Gibson is only going to ask questions that have been pre-approved by the McCain camp.. Gibson was the only one who was given an interview of McCain during the primary. I think McCain just loved it.

Palin''s Pastor, Ed Kalnins, makes Rev. Wright look like the Pope. Here is what the Rev. Kalnins has taught her and what she repeats.

She says terrorism against Jews is part of God''s plan because they refuse to accept Jesus as their savior; that the Palestinians killing Jews is part of God%u2019s plan.

She asks her congregation to "pray for the oil pipeline."

She says Alaska has a special place in God''s plan to save it during the "End Times."

She used State fund to transport kids during church outing;

She says the war in Iraq is part of "God''s plan."

She says gaye people can be converted and become straight;

She has said when the spirit moves her, she %u201Cspeaks in tongues.%u201D

She believes in %u201Cfaith healing.%u201D

These are just a few of her extreme statements.

She asked the city librarian to ban various books as not being Christian enough.

Is she a nut-job, or what?

You can find all this for yourself, just Google: Palin''s Church, Palin and the Jews, Palin and the Iraq war, etc.

Is this American Idol? This has become an election based solely on emotion and feelings. I am especially angered by the GOP, but both parties do it. Palin is just yer average gal! We need somebody who hunts ''n fishes! The straight talk express is going to drive us right off the first cliff. I want to see Jesse Ventura and Ralph Nader moderate the debates. Who is with me? The one thing you know for sure about Ralph and Jesse is that they speak the truth.

"What woman do you know who could shoot a moose, field-dress it and serve it?" he said. "This has really energized the conservative side of the house."

This is what we need in our executive leadership?!?
How is it possible this country has become so ignorant? This is a joke, some kind of papparazzi-styled popularity contest, a beauty pagaent? Too much TV, not enough education. This country is powerful: leader of the free world. We need sober, thoughtful and educated people to run it, regardless of party. This Palin character is just a cardboard cutout, she''s not a leader of national calibre. Who the hell IS this person? What on earth is she doing on the GOP ticket? Is this a joke? This is so unreal that I''m actually frightened. I think you people who support this ticket have truly lost your minds. How can you respect such a vulgar, mean-spirited person? She is an embarrassment, a total nobody.

Why doesn''t CBS look into Sarah Palin''s false claims about the bridge to nowhere, Troopergate and millions raised for earmarks?

You voted christian in 2008.

There are 250,000 plus dead Iraq civilians.

What would Jesus do?

Vote to continue killing innocent people, to give more to the corrupt rich, to support those who mock community service?

Or would he choose...

Ending the killing, caring for the sick, helping the poor?

They call themselves christians, but don''t listen to their words. Look at their actions and ask yourself What would Jesus do?

McCain-Palin are promoting themselves as change agents.

Their neck-snapping 180 degree turn after the GOP convention of Bush, Bush and more Bush ought to qualify them as quick change artists.

No matter how much lipstick they put on this, John McCain''s real running mate is George W. Bush.

If this boosts McCain''s chances of winning I will have even less faith in the Republican base. She has limited experience, is under investigation, knows even less about the economy of foreign policy than McCain, and made blatant lies in her speech at the convention.

Palin''s debut has invigorated the Republican base...

---------------------------------------------------

Of this I have no doubt. The inbred, green toothed GOP Armageddon/ second coming enthusiasts are wrestling
rattlesnakes, swilling strychnine by the gallon and biting the heads off live chickens across a 40 state area in triumphant celebration of Milfy McMooseburger
and the possibility of her being our next V.P.

Yeah, and I think that is why McCain picked her. She comes across as a sincere zealot and has the record to back it up. I am less concerned about people''s beliefs than when they bring them to government. I don''t want to impugn people''s religious beliefs, but there is every reason to keep them away from politics.

I am inclined to agree with you about Bush. However, Palin strikes me as a sincere zealot. Such people are dangerous!

Lets look at the Truth-O-Meter from Politifacts.com a non-partisan fact checking group. In statements about the other candidate and/or their party they analyze whether the candidate making the statement was Truthful, Mostly Truthful, Half-Truth, Barely Truthful (Mostly False), False, and An Outright Lie. Here are the results (I did the math for percentages): Obama was truthful 55% of the time, McCain was truthful 43% of the time. More alarming was that McCains Mostly False, False, and Lies were also 43% of the time. Obama''s was 27% and none of those were Lies! And if you look at McCains more recent speechs, after he won the primary (and got help from the Bush people like Steve Schmidt) his percentages are even worse. So much for McCains straight-talk express.

I certainly think Palin comes across as much more sincere that Bush. I think Bush will emphasize religion when it is politically expedient. I read something about his "faith-based intitiatives" and that someone in that policy arena resigned because they weren''t actually serious about it.

Are you saying, Royalia, that Bush is not sincere in his religious fervor but Palin is?
