Governors Bill Clinton, George Bush, Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter also did not have Foreign Policy experience - they had executive experience in running a state which is most important. There are lots of experienced, foreign policy specialists to teach them what they need to know. With good character and judgement they can handle it.
Please check out the following for an example of Palin Myth''s. http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/09/05/top-7-myths-lies-and-untruths-about-sarah-palin/
People with common sense (usually Independents) check out the facts of candidates in both parties to make their decisions. They listen to the speeches of both parties. They vote based on the facts, their beliefs and values - not their emotions which are displayed on blogs.

How can we expect Gov. Palin to be able to go toe-to-toe with the likes of Putin or Ahmadinejad if she won''t even agree to meet with the National Press Corp? What is her stand on the important issues and what is her depth of knowledge?

Hey, isn''''t also funny that she tried to make Obama seem so unimportant because he was nothing but a lowly senator, yet today senator Lieberman is helping the woman with all that executive experience on foreign policy?

Well said!

Other than the fact that Lieberman makes my skin crawl; now I''m a McCain supporter and it delights me he is kicking dems in the snoot again.

Ok Reid, what ya gonna do? Squeal at us again?

Reid should have dumped Lieberman 2 years ago when he was voted in by Republicans but as always, Reid as is his couterpart, Pelosi, is gutless.

Excerpt:

As Mayor, Sarah fired Wasilla''s Police Chief because he "intimidated" her, she told the press. As Governor, her recent firing of Alaska''s top cop has the ring of familiarity about it. He served at her pleasure and she had every legal right to fire him, but it''s pretty clear that an important factor in her decision to fire him was because he wouldn''t fire her sister''s ex-husband, a State Trooper. Under investigation for abuse of power, she has had to admit that more than 2 dozen contacts were made between her staff and family to the person that she later fired, pressuring him to fire her ex-brother-in-law. She tried to replace the man she fired with a man who she knew had been reprimanded for sexual harassment; when this caused a public furor, she withdrew her support.

She has bitten the hand of every person who extended theirs to her in help. The City Council person who personally escorted her around town introducing her to voters when she first ran for Wasilla City Council became one of her first targets when she was later elected Mayor. She abruptly fired her loyal City Administrator; even people who didn''t like the guy were stunned by this ruthlessness.

Fear of retribution has kept all of these people from saying anything publicly about her.

When she started down that road of deception in her speech, I knew then what she was capable of. She is obviously driven by personal importance. In the Bible, Queen Jezebel was just such a person.

ABOUT SARAH PALIN:

If you really want to know Sarah Palin''s history (in detail) this is a "must read". It was written by Anne Kilkenny, another resident of Wasilla, Alaska.

Apparently Palin supports terrorist attacks against Jews for their unbelief.

If I''m not mistaken I think I read where Obama met with some people to be brought up to speed on foreign policy, last week or shortly after the Dem convention. Maybe it was regarding national security...one or the other. So what''s the big deal?
McCain/Palin have won my vote.

It''s like they keep themselves dumbed down completely so that they never feel themselves spitting into the wind.

As for Lieberman, its not so much that now he''s repubican in democratic clothing, but that he is such a sellout to the Christian fundies who are sure he will burn in hell if he doesn''t come over from Judaism. He might as well go all the way.

"Smilin'' Joe" Lieberman should start with the fact that Alaska is actually part of the United States, despite Sarah and her husband''s Alaska Independence Party past affiliations.

Then move onto the Washington, DC mantra: AIPAC and Israel good, everything else bad!

Lieberman, who was the 2000 Democratic vice presidential nominee but is now an independent, has helped introduce Palin to officials of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the leading pro-Israel lobby

Isn''t that Special ! A crash course in kissing the Iraeali Lobbys arses. Watch for that infamous bulge on her back as she is fed answers like George Bush during debates.
Lieberman is a joke and a weazel.
