- The Repubs promise more tax cuts for the top 10%, 1%, and 1/10th of one percent.
Translation:
The rest of the 90% of Americans will do better under Obama.
When you don''t over tax the ones who write your paycheck, they have more money to invest which leads to more job opportunity and higher wages for the rest of us. It''s not like they will be paying a lower percentage out of their pocket than you and I do. They will still be in a higher tax bracket, and for what, being a successful at bussiness? Yeah, lets punish bussinessess for being good at what they do. Anyway, the only reason why Clinton Presidency was so financially successful was because of the enternet boom that started with Bush''s Presidency. - Reply to this comment
- I think this article, at this point, is a non issue. The issue here is her lack of federal experience and her fanatic religous views. The issue here is McCain''''s lack of decision making skills. Sure, he wrapped up the religous right, but he''''s going to turn off a lot of the people standing in the middle of the road. As eluded to below, 15 minutes is DEAD ON.

What good is federal experience if you don''t use it to make a difference while you have it? I think actual change, to include a budget surplus in times of economic downturn, on a state level in less than two years accounts for more than nearly 4 years of just good scripted speeches. romter is working properly. Other than motivational speaking, I don''t know what the man can actually accomplish. He bragged about being able to spend more than the Alaskan Annual Budget in 18 months of campaining. Wow, that''s going to be great for the economy. - Reply to this comment

- Bottom line
McCain chose a candidate for V.P. who is PRESENTLY under investigation, this does not an example of good decision making on the part of McCain! - Reply to this comment
- "This story is as interesting as the baby and "pregnancy" story.
Her daughter took a leave from school for months. She herself didn''''t announce her pregnancy until the 7 month and no one in her office could tell any sign of pregnancy. Then a month or so later while she was in Texas for a Republican Governor''''s Convention, she claimed her water broke, but went ahead and stayed for the speech. After the speech, she and her husband decided to take an 8 hour flight back to Alaska, plus a 45 minute ride to a remote clinic to give birth to Trig, now the 5 month baby. Trig was said to be a month premature. So between her announcement of 7 month pregnant to when the baby was born, there was barely a month in between to "look" pregnant. Now the daughter "looks" like those "breast-feeding-new-mommy-with-tummy-fat
" (that might go away after the election). If she''''s pregnant, she looks the most 2-3 months in that tight dress, not like 5 months pregnant. Hmm, if she actually have this baby, the baby and Trig would be more like siblings age wise. I actually know siblings who are 11 months apart."
That story has already been disproven. Your a day behind. Sorry to break the news to you. I hope you wern''t clingy to the idea that it was true. - Reply to this comment
- What if your loved ones life was being threatened by a gun carrying State Trooper? Would you do whatever you could to protect your family and get him off the force? What should she have done? I know he is innocent until proven guilty; but, it is quite possible that he was threating her family and she was worried about their safety.

- An appeal to fellow Democrats: Please let''s quit encouraging the ravings of the misguided who are disillusioned enough to really believe that their views reflect that of the majority of United States'' citizens. Face it, the Republicans used to be a respectable party with intelligent people with whom you might not always agree, but with whom you could have a smart discussion. Sadly, it has now become a party of either the new rich or poor white, and neither group is worth wasting our collective energies on. Let''s leave them to themselves while we get on with the business at hand in November.

- Have you ever heard of aerial hunting? It''s a brutal practice. Wolves are shot from low-flying aircraft or chased to exhaustion, then killed at point-blank range.
Governor Sarah Palin, the Republican nominee for Vice President, promotes this barbaric practice, exploiting a loophole in the Federal Airborne Hunting Act to allow private wolf killers to shoot down wolves using aircraft. We have to get the word out about this!

- ---"The current GOP zombie talking point is that Palin has "executive experience."---

But look at what independents think (from Rasmussen):
"Perhaps most stunning is that, among unaffiliated voters, just 42% believe Obama has better experience than Palin to be President. Thirty-seven percent (37%) say Palin has the edge on experience." - Reply to this comment

- gctomajtom loves Bush. Bush is crazy to start a war w/o justification. Bush is now trying to do what Obama have suggested for years. That is strike Al Qaeda/Taliban in Pakistan and withdraw our troops out of Iraq. Then waste our tax dollars in Iraq and on Georgia ($1B). Georgia deserve what they received from Russia (a good *ss kicking). Georgia president was crying to Bush/*** for help.
