The fact is, everybody I talk to including Republicans are surprised and have real concern about McCain''s pick for second-in-command. While they fully intend to support McCain, their reaction seems to be "Aren''t there better picks to choose from?". They like Palin because they see her as a true conservative, but they either don''t know much about her or are not impressed from what they know.

NewsBusters reported that Kerry told ABC''s George Stephanopoulos on Sunday''s "This Week" that "John McCain wanted to choose Tom Ridge. He wanted to choose Joe Lieberman. He wanted to choose another candidate, but you know what? Rush Limbaugh and the right-wing vetoed it. And John McCain was forced to come back and pick a sort of Cheney-esque social conservative who''s going to satisfy the base. What John McCain has proven with this choice is that John McCain is a prisoner of the right-wing, not a maverick."

Palin = Reagan- one of us.
Mc Cain = Eisenhower. Tested. Trusted. Ready.

Biden = Agree. Sleeze factored - Any one in the MMM (Male Media Mafia) remember the CREDIT CARD LAWS BIDEN forced thru congress ( after many attempts). IT makes your credit card balance forever , even after bankruptcy !! Forever !!

Palin was mayor of a town that had the population of a large Apartment complex in New York. Since she has been Govornor - she has already come under state investigation for abuse of power? What will she do as VP? She ONLY got her PASSPORT in 2007 - and she''s going to deal with world leaders? They will hasve NOTHING to do with tis overgroen cheerleader. I''d like someone to slap that plastered on Beauty Queen smile off her face. I wonder if she Vaselines her teeth like most beauty queens do. ONLY McCain''s smile is more snake-like.

Seems like she''s a little szichophrenic about her dealings. Typical RePIGliCON. Get while the getting is good - no matter who you have to ''sleep'' with then screw them after the fact - then go back for more cash.

LOL! Just an observation, but I noticed how they continue to tout that so-called executive experience, including the years as mayor of that little town. It makes me laugh because, I guess you can also count being the executive director of a daycare as having executive experience, if you want to stretch it that far.

It''s hard to believe McSAME conducted a vetting process when it comes to Palin!

It looks like it was quick, simple, political calculation! Her nomination would attract idiot disaffected women who supported HRC, and rally the ''family values'' Christians---using the term loosely---
around Palin and the ticket! Once again, using the loonies, as the White House staff refer to them!

I kind of wonder if McSAME wasn''t maybe trying to shield this apparently crooked Alaskan republican
from that meeting with justice! She kind of reminds me of Spiro Agnew.

Had McSAME chosen a more experienced, less encumbered nominee, we wouldn''t be placed in the position of having to vote for or against someone who''s unfit to hold the office of vice-president!
