Bob Barr has to be the biggest political joke in 2008. Barr was a republican and is now the Libertarian candidate for president? I thought Barr''s ego was big but Barr''s run for president as a Libertarian reveals a person who cannot escape his own past and tries to remake himself by uttering almost-smart political views that aren''t part of Barr''s own political past. Barr is not a Libertarian in my opinion. One of my questions for Barr is: Which of his multiple marriages is he defending now? If marriage is supposed to be "sanctified", why does he need to change his wives like his shoes? Apparently his marriages haven''t been too binding for him personally. Barr is just another hypocrite who is trying to remake himself politically and hopes that no one remembers Barr''s own record as a republican. Barr is just another liar-dweeb of a human being.

"blocking the District''s efforts to approve marijuana use for seriously ill patients; making the public aware of the scourge of Wicca being practiced on military bases. And the big enchilada: authoring the Defense of Marriage Act, which restricted the federal government from recognizing gay marriage"

The notion that this is a LIBERTARIAN candidate is hilarious.

I don''t care how seriously he takes things. He''s a hypocrite of the most obvious kind.

I''''''''m sorry, but I just cannot vote for someone who looks like that. He looks funny. I know that 99% of blacks will vote for Obama because of his looks, and this is stupid. But Bob Barr just looks too funny to vote for.

I can think of plenty of reasons not to vote for Barr, but his looks is not one of them! Unfortunately, in America even idiots like you get to vote, even if you do base that vote on what the candidate looks like!

Bob Barr is actually a cool guy!!!!! I lived in GA while he ruled his roost down there and never thought I''d say that. He''s much more like the "old style" conservatives, before that word became synonymous with the radical right under Reagan, who were much more palatable to the centrists who are really need to win an election. Watch out GoPigs!! Also, anyone who can call Shammity merely unpleasant as opposed to any of the more direct invectives must be a real good guy at heart.
