- Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili says he talks to McCain, a personal friend, several times a day. McCain''s top foreign policy adviser, Randy Scheunemann, was until recently a paid lobbyist for Georgia''s government.

So Mikheil Saakashvili is getting his money''s worth... - Reply to this comment
- I''m still under the impression that we should have but one president at a time. That John Sydney McCain III feels empowered to "dispatch" people to the region is rather presumptuous for a man who is not even a nominee. I think old Johnny is looking for another war to wage and he needs to shut up.

- McCain''s SENIOR FOREIGN POLICY EXPERT is Georgia''s lobbyist, who was just paid a lot of money by Georgia, and Georgia was lead to believe by someone in the US that we would help them if they got into a conflict with Russia.
BUT, we can''t really do much and many many innocent people have died FOR NOTHING.
JUST THINK ABOUT IT . . .
Read about our encouragment to Georgia, McCain''s unethical ties to Georgia, and our absolute failure to help Georgia.
Maybe I''m coming to the wrong conclusion, but I think McCain had a real role in making this conflict come about and it was stupid. - Reply to this comment
