- well alan it would be nice to pay attention to what he is trying tell us about his mind set and the way he saw things ,I had these experiences in real life what I discovered in his writtings after the fact ,therefore for a person like me to understand his message is much easier and very well taken ,I understand that nature has given all of us unique ability to see things a certain way .....but I suggest try to understand his views on being religious without prejudice .....

Shazam112, the key is that religion in an of itself lies in individual choices...what Einstein said was totally beautiful thoughts...but if you look at one''s ACTIONS there is your key!
One can have tremenously beautiful thoughts, great spirituality...and go out and kill somebody. Or create something that kills, even if they don''t use it to kill themselves, and people give them credit for great wisdom which they didn''t use in their creation.
Again, religion is not BAD...it brings us our credo! The key is to use it for that, and nothing else! - Reply to this comment

Shazam112, I know you pro''''bly think from some of my writings that I hate Muslims, blacks, and am a racist like I''''ve been accused of being!
But believe me, all peoples, and living and inanimate objects on this earth are things of beauty to me.
I just take strong exception to anything on it that thinks I should be dead for some wild eyed reason of their own...or that I should be lunch! lol

- I consider myself quite knowledgeable but would not begin to say I am wise.
Remember the idiot savants. there opinion on anything but their particular gift is worthless. People Albert Einstein or A lincoln do not hold the wisdom of the ages. We are fallible beings and a einsteins opinion outside of physics are worth no more than mine.

- "A knowledge of the existence of something we cannot penetrate, of the manifestations of the profoundest reason and the most radiant beauty, which are only accessible to our reason in their most elementary forms%u2014it is this knowledge and this emotion that constitute the truly religious attitude; in this sense, and in this alone, I am a deeply religious man."[56]

I see you worship at the God of knowledge aka albert einstein. His scientific ability does no give him the ability to determine what true religion. Each person must for himself. His ability to uncover some the basic mooving blocks of the universe is amazing but knowledge is not wisdom and the result of his knowledge was to allow humans to use the information to create bombs that may result in the eradication of humans
I consider myself quite knowledgeable but would not begin to say I am wise.

I see the above post as thoughtful and reasoned. Why isn''''t Israel sharing the lands with those who formerly lived there, instead of killing and deporting and taking their homes? To even claim that Israel should be a Jewish state is the height of racistness. Israel should be representativie of all peoples and of all religions that wish to live there. Jews are no more special than any other people.

It''''s not religions that are causing the problem, Shazam112, it''''s people using religion for political purposes.

- Don''''t get me wrong, I love my country, but I never understood why we couldn''''t have lived in peace and harmony with its natives. They were certainly mostly willing, tho suspicious, which was their right!
The story about how our ancestors carved a new home out of the wilderness, escaped the tyranny of the monarchies, gained freedom of religion, and a right to live under democracy with its Constituion was a truly noble feat. And we are enjoying their efforts as we speak.
But as we speak, we are also living through a nightmare created out of democracy in electing a new leader. And let''''s face it, the whole bunch of them are crooks! It''''s almost insane!
We do need to get this over with and turn our sights back to living these good lives we''''re given, and protecting our sovereignty and freedom like the precious thing it is.
If we let go of our sovereignty and freedom dreaming some dream of global peace and authority, I''''m sorry but the world''''s just flat not ready for that yet! And it won''''t happen until the world finds a common enemy and must unite! Like in Battle Star Galactica or something! ROFL!

- So why are''''t they (Elections Commision) investigating why a non-voter making only middle class bucks supposedly donated $2500 or so to McCain. Obviously it is a fraud where people are paid a bribe so as to donate under their name. I thought McCain took only government financing.
The system is a fraud.

So, why aren''t they investigating Obscamma? He did the same damned thing!

But to get back to your hate Israel thing...I do believe that they have a right to exist in peace! And I think it is pretty arrogant of both the Jews and the Arabs that they can''''t share that land and enjoy it together instead of trying to kill each other over a bunch of religious relics...

- Some of the most prolific givers in Sargeant''''s network live in modest homes in Southern California''''s Inland Empire. Most had never given a political contribution before being contacted by Sargeant or his associates. Most said they have never voiced much interest in politics. And in several instances, they had never registered to vote. And yet, records show, some families have ponied up as much as $18,400 for various candidates between December and March
18 grand!
riiight
dang that smells rotten

...........
For the IE in Southern California, a 4,000 square foot home and a $150k annual salary is considered "modest".
When you can''t even claim a political contribution as a tax write-off, no middle class income earner is going to give thousands of dollars to ANY candidate for ANY party! (unless they are really, really, really bad at economics). - Reply to this comment
