JonGood65,
When Clinton raised taxes on the rich in 93 the Republicans were outraged and predicted a recession.
from 93 to 99 we had the biggest economic expansion in history, everyone got richer including the rich.

It''s maggots like you that try to hide the fact obama''s the racist. You sit back and allow a man that has written in plain english(something even you can read)racist comments about his own family to shower you with his smooth talking and make you all warm and fuzzy inside. Well, for the rest of us dumb folk we''ll keep our eye on the country while you bend over and let your boy tickle your fancy!!!

I CAN''T BELIEVE YOU DOPE''S COULD EVEN NOMINATE THIS JOKER TO REPRESENT YOUR PARTY!!!!

I think we should all just sit back and let the 6% Black guy and 47% arab pick our country apart from the inside. That will make you dems look pretty smart huh? If you think this guy has anything new in store for this country your very mis-guided. Look at this guy''s track record! Your so-called war hero kerry was spanked into submission by the very person you hate, and your putting all your eggs in this nut case? GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!! Dopes.

Interesting story I heard today about some research a financial reporter for the Wall Street Journal dug up on tax cuts vs. tax increases since the days of JFK.

Every time the federal government increases taxes on the rich as Sen. Obama is promising to do now, the rich have always wound up paying less and the poorer folks have wound up being forced to pick up the revenue shortfall.

Every time the rich have been given a tax cut, such as what G.W. Bush did, they have wound up paying more in taxes. Government revenues have gone up and the poor haven''t been forced to pick up the slack.

Folks, history, via the Jimah Carter, and the Bill Clinton regime prior to the Republican take over of Congress in 1994 reveals the horrors on the poor working class these tax and spend liberals have visited.

It simply blows me away why anyone would vote for a Democrat, period.

I recognized during Ronald Reagan''s term in the White House the irrational anger and hate harbored, and so often displayed by these Democrat minions.

I could always attribute it to my belief they were the sort of folks who get their emotions stampeded very easily, over nothing more than ffffffeeeeeeeeeelllliiiinnngggssss.

However, today as I watch these same left wing pinkos so willing to spin whatever lie is required to actually try and destroy a man who offered his life for this nation, rather than try and defeat him with substance, it has left me with no doubt of exactly what a low life one has to be to ever vote for any Democrat today.

HE HAS VOTED CONSISTENTLY FOR BIGGER GOVERNMENT AND HIGHER
TAXES. HE HAS VOTED FOR BIG ENTITLEMENTS AND LEGISLATION
THAT WOULD SEVERELY CURTAIL AMERICA''S ABILITY TO FIGHT
TERRORISM AND TO PROTECT OUR BORDERS AND OUR NATIONAL
INTERESTS AROUND THE WORLD.

Hmmm....I guess you forgot what the right-wing scumbags did to John McCain in 2000. He is getting a velvet ride from the Democrats compared to that.
The Republican party in SC accused him of being a traitor to his men in Viet Nam, of fathering a black baby out of wedlock, accused his wife of being mentally ill and a drug addict.
You heard anything like that coming out of the Democratic campaigns this go around. You can vote Republican all you like, but don''t try to whitewash the party by acting indignant about the Democrats.

What a hoot. As a top graduate from Harvard he could have had a job at a top law firm making lots of money. Instead, he chose to work for low pay in Chicago helping poor people as a legal aid.

And the above statement could also apply to John McCain. So what is your point??
